Chapter 27

Myles

2 months. I was in a coma for 2 months. How does that even happen?

When I woke up in the hospital I was extremely confused. How did I get here and why? The doctor told me I was hit by a truck and although I was lucky I hadn't died, I was also seriously injured. My brain had swelled and in order to save my life they had to put me in a medically induced coma for the best survival rate.

I also didn't see Melissa either. But the doctor had assured me that she had been here constantly along with Kalin. I really hope I didn't loose her to him because if I did I don't think I could ever forgive either of them.

It had been a couple hours since I woke up and still no sign of Melissa or Kalin. But my parents and brothers came to visit me along with a few friends and fans. I was given get well card and teddy bears as well as flowers and balloons.

It was around 6 pm when I heard the familiar voice I loved so much and it made my heart swell knowing I would be able to see her again and tell her how much I loved and missed her.

"MYLES YOUR AWAKE!" both kalin and Melissa screamed as they ran in. When she saw me she basically screamed and jumped on top of me which hurt my ribs a little bit but I didn't let her know.

"God I've missed you guys." I said as I hugged her as tight as I could. But I noticed Hannah wasn't here. Where could she be?

"I've missed you way to much and you missed out on a lot" Mel had said.

Her and Kalin went into the story on how when I was on my way for our date that Kyle, Melissa's abusive ex, had arranged for a truck to hit me with the intension of seriously injuring me. But not to kill me because according to Kyle that was too easy because this was 'just a warning' meant to scare me away. They also said how Hannah had moved away because of family issues. At this Kalin still looked a little sad but I knew he would be fine. He can easily get any girl he wants so I'm not worried. But this did also reassure me that I still had her. And I was gonna officially make her mine once I got out of this place.

"So bro when are they finally letting you out of this joint?" Kalin said.

"In a few days. They want to start feeding me and making sure my head is okay and I won't have any more issues." Which speaking of food I could seriously go for some Chinese food and a Thai tea.

They had stayed until closing a had assured me that they will be back tomorrow to start planning when we could do to prove Kyle was behind this and get him arrested again. Once they left I fell right asleep with hope it won't take me 2 months to wake up again.
