Major Tom's Demise

Man landed on the moon.

He was excited for this achievement of earth.

He laughed and cried his eyes full of mirth.

The world was joyous they couldn't believe it.

The Papers came out with his achievement.

He looked towards the galaxy to the blue and green planet.

Seeming far away like a great distance of separation.

However this journey was no happy vacation.

His engines failed as he tried to come down.

There was a loud warning sound.

Then the transmission came on and on.

The last thing man heard was "Can you hear me Major Tom?"
