Chapter 2

I turned around the second i heard Alyssa's voice. I turned back around and kept walking. The boy was now staring at us. But I ignored him. Alyssa catched up and pulled me by my shoulder so hard causing me to fall down and cut my fore arm. I gasped in pain. It was a good 9 inch cut and it was pretty deep too.

I slit my wrist with a piece of someone's windshield. I gave Alyssa a death stare and she apoligized. She helped me up , and saw my cut and nearly fainted. The boy walked up to us and and said

" Hi i'm Chandler. "

"Hi i'm Anabelle and this is my bestfriend Alyssa." i said

"You have a pretty nasty cut there. Do you need a first-aid kit ? " he said in a cute country accent.

" That would be awesome'' i said while squinting my eyes in pain.

We walked maybe a block and a half and Chandler kept looking at me by the corner of his eye. He started asking us about ourselfs and we told him. He told us he is 14 , his last name is Riggs and his

mother died while giving birth to his sister Judith , his dad is at a house with cracked ribs.

"wow , im sorry." i said.

"it's okay. I met you now." he said while blushing.

I smiled.
