Chapter 1

It was a normal day of high school in Karasuno. Hinata was leaving the school to go to the club room and get changed, but when he got there, the others were eating in the room, so it filled the room with a disgusting smell for the Ghoul, but he had to bear it, to maintain his cover.
"hello everyone!" he said excitedly.
"Yo, Hinata! You have to try this meat bun! It's amazing!" Tanaka said with a grin. Hinata nodded excitedly and grabbed a bun, and took a bite and immediately swallowed and pretend to chew.
"This is great! We should all get some meat buns after practice!" He said loudly. The older team members laughed and nodded in agreement.
"Yay!" he jumped around.

After they all got changed, the volleyball team, surprisingly everyone went to buy meat buns to the coach's shop. Hinata was imitating Tanaka as usual, and Noya was laughing his ass off. Kageyama stood in the side, quietly eating his meat bun, until he heard some sounds coming from the alley opposite them. He turned to look who was there, but saw nothing. When he was about to dismiss the uneasy feeling, he saw two red orbs looking their way. Hinata sniffed the air and said to get inside the shop. When they all entered, a man dressed in black, with a golden mask that had jewels at the side, and covered the top half of his face, appeared from the alleyway. He had a ukaku that covered all of his back like a cape, and it's divided into four ends at the very bottom. Hinata glared at the man as he got closer, but he was at the very back of the shop, so no one noticed him leave from the back door. He put on long black trousers, put on a black hoodie that had two holes in the back, and put on his mask that covered his whole face except from the eyes. The mask had feathers at the ends, and was shaped as a beak. It was completely black. He put the God die up to cover his hair and jumped on top of the shop. He quickly moved to the front edge, and jumped down towards him, in front of the door. His eyes were turned, and the veins showed. He glared at the man.
"what are you doing in my territory, grand king?" Hinata asked with a low voice.
"Oh? I didn't expect to meet you here, Crow. I just wanted to check the volleyball team out before the practice match~"
"Get out of here before I take that crown off your head."
"You're no fun!" He said childishly, but his smile darkened. "I can't wait to play against you, shrimp. I don't want to be disappointed, so try your best~" The Ghoul waved and left quickly.

There was a sigh behind him, and he looked at the other teens looking at him. "C'mon, Hinata, we can defend ourselves, you know!" Suga said.

Hinata sighed. "he was going to kill you, you know, right?" he said as he took his mask off and looked at the humans. Suga, Daichi, and Kageyama already knew that Hinata is a Ghoul, but they treat him as they did before. They found out when he was about to go hunt, and he was putting his mask on behind the club room. They didn't mind that he was a Ghoul, because they trusted him completely. Hinata grinned at the others and took off his hoodie. Suga ruffled his hair. And Daichi pat his back.
"As long as we have you here, we're fine, right?" Kageyama said, and Hinata nodded.
"I will always protect my friends and team."
