Chapter 13

Where are we?

I woke up and I was in a dark room that smelled like dead things. My head was pounding so hard it felt like I was going to die.

Where am I and what did these people want from me.

I slowly stood up getting on my feet. The room wasn't very big I walked over to where I saw a bit of light, it looked like it was coming from a window. I walked over to hope flowing through my body. When I reached it everything dissapered.

The window had bars so I couldn't get through. I shook on them as hard as I could but they wouldn't budge.

I started screaming help but no one answered it was I had been abandoned.

I slid down the wall so I was sitting on the ground again. Tears started building in my eyes making my vision blurry. I didn't want to cry, crying is weakness and I am not weak, but right now that's the only thing I could to was cry.

CHASES POV

"Where's Emily!" I demanded.

"You will soon find out" one of the men said to me.

"FUCKING TELL ME NOW!" I yelled at him. The guy shook his head and tears started falling down my face I couldn't control it.

Flash back~

"3!" I yelled to Emily, she got up and ran as fast as she could. I got up and ran towards the guy I went to throw one clean punch to his face when he pulled out a knife. The knife went into the side of my stomach.

I let out a yelp of pain, the guy through the knife on the ground and walked over to me. I was now lying on the ground under a street light.

The man walked out of the shadows and into the dim lighting. I saw his face and my eyes opened so wide I thought they would pop out. I shook my head and closed my eyes.

"It can't be, it can't be, it can't be" I kept whispering to myself. He must have heard because he replied.

"Oh but it is" he said, he had an evil smirk plastered on his face. More tears fell from my eyes I just couldn't stop them.

"Long time no see brother" he said with an evil chuckle.

End of flashback~

I was now tied up in a large room which looked like a warehouse. Dry tear stains were all over my face. I smelt and I was covered in blood, but I didn't care about any of that I want is Emily to know she's okay to hug her and to never let her go.

"Why are you doing this" I mumbled.

"Don't act stupid brother you know very well why I am doing this" my brother said.

"Don't hurt Emily she had nothing to do with this" I pleaded.

"Maybe not but she seems to mean a lot to you so...we will keep her as motivation" he growled.

He left the room and I hung my head low. This is all my fault I shouldn't have brought Emily on this trip I've put her life in danger and she will probably never speak to me ever again.

I sat there for another 20minutes till I heard the door opening. I tilted my head up and saw Rick (my brother) dragging Em in. Her eyes stared into to mine, I quickly looked down I couldn't look her in the eye not after this.

The brought her in front of me and tied her in a chair like they did to me. I kept my head down though so I couldn't see her eyes. Everyone left and it was only us left.

"Look at me Chase" she whispered softly. I shook my head but hearing her voice my me smile even though it was quiet and shaky I still loved it.

"Please" she begged I could tell she was about to cry, I couldn't stand it anymore I had to see her. I slowly lifted my head and our eyes connected a small smile took over her face.

"Thank you" she said. I smiled back at her.

"Angel I'm sorry I got you into this you are much safer without me" I said quietly.

"It's okay Chase it's not your fault we got kinapped my stranger" she said.

"But angel it is my fault because they aren't strangers" I said very quietly I doubt she could here me.

"What do you mean" she said her voice shaky.

"These are the people we are running from" I said. Her eye started filling up with water and all I wanted to do was give her a massive hug but I couldn't because of these stupid chains.

"How do you know them" she said.

"I will tell you when we get out" i said, I only said this because I don't think I'm ready to tell her and I just hope Rick keeps his big mouth shut.

"Okay" she breathed out, then the doors opened and Rick walked in.

"Well well well isn't this sweet the happy couple reunited again" he said sarcastically.

"Shut up" I yelled, he walked over to me and grabbed Em's neck she screamed but he gripped it so tight she couldn't make any noise instead she was gagging for air. I yelled for him to let go more tears blurring my vision, I thought I ran out of tears.

"YOU WILL NOT SPEAK TO ME LIKE THT your this one pays" he yelled then quietened down.

"Do you understand" he asked still holding here neck.

"Yes please just left her go" I begged moving around in my chair trying to break free of these chains. He let go of her neck and she was now gasping for air.

"Good" he said whilst walking away. "And we are having dinner tonight so you better be on you best behaviour.

I nodded and he walked out of the room. I turned to Em who had turned red and a was still struggling a little to breath. There were already bruise marks forming on her neck and I wanted to strangle that bastard to death.

"Are you okay" I asked her even though it was a dumb question.

She nodded, "just get us out of here please" she whispered.

"Don't worry angel I will think of something" I reassured her.

But I'm really not sure if we will ever get out, the chances are very thin and without any phones no one knows where we are.
