I lay down on the grass
And try to relieve my tension
The clouds are one big mass
My world is in suspension
I gaze up at the trees
A design against the sky
The sunlight on my knees
Mosquitos buzzing by
My shoulders are relaxed
I slip into a dream
Peace I've found at last
Under the sunlight's beam
I pause just for a second
And try to count the days
When I was just relaxed
And in the peace I lay
