I was at home for probably the first time that week, I had been training, trying to prove that I wasn't injured, I could fight alongside my brothers again... but, it was exhausting and painful.

"You know, I almost wish I had a normal life." I sighed loudly and rolled over on my couch in the human world

"You would be bored too fast Jay." A deep voice laughed, the voice resounding in my mind.

"No I wouldn't! Well...then again... okay fine, maybe I would Reign but shuddup." I laughed, speaking to Reign, the Spirit in my armor, every Paladin receives one with their armor, it's their... guide, for lack of a better word, I had been lucky, as Reign was the God Dragon of War, there were few God Dragon spirits left, as most ascended into what they thought was paradise. Reign was one of the few remaining, and was close to, if not the strongest.

"What's this?..... Oh, Jay it appears your father is summoning us to heaven, it must be urgent and I suggest we go quickly." Reign said snapping me out of my thoughts, a bright portal appeared in a free space of my apartment. I lept to my feet and walked over.

"Did he say why?" I asked as I stepped into a portal and in the next second, I was in front of a huge white building and stepping on 'Cloud' covered marble.

"Hmm, it appears that something is occurring, and whatever it is, it can't be good, he hasn't called us out like this since the incident." Reign said, sounding a tad bit nervous. I locked my jaw, determined that today would be the day I told my father I was ready to fight again.

I walked up the stairs and inside the building looking for my father who would be there. I walked up and asked one of the angels where my father was. She smiled and pointed in the direction of a conference room.

I thanked her and walked to the door. As I reached for the handle I had a sudden jolt of energy flew through me.

"Reign, my armor, there are others inside," I asked. As soon as I asked I felt the perfectly fitted white armor and my hood at my neck. I took a deep breath in, I hadn't been a part of any major operations since the... incident, only small jobs, training missions, and such. Finally, I summed up my courage and turned the handle, walking into the meeting room.

"And here he is now." Said my father to a crowd of Paladins and Angel generals all in full battle armor, which was intimidating, to say the least.

"Lord Paladin," I say moving to his side and dropping to one knee bowing my head as I did.

"My apologies, I only recently received your message, my Lord," I added as I was late to the meeting.

"Rise, young Paladin, fear not, I was only recently asked to contact you... it has been a long while since you've been in a war conference my son." he spoke softly smiling at me with a look of pride, it was the same one he gave I when I first became a Paladin, and when I earned my Wings.

"Please, sit, allow us to continue." He added, motioning to a seat on his right-hand side. I felt immense pride as I sat on his right hand side, the place I had once never left, where I had become his legendary "Heavens Blade", it felt... right, to be back in that seat, like greeting an old friend.

The meeting was a normal one, to say the least. Discussions on how to deal with the devil threat and of course how to put down the fallen angel rebellion for good. The quite boring meeting was uneventful until a message arrived from one of the Archangels himself... this, would be eventful.

"What's this about?" My father asked, confused by the sudden message. He opened the envelope and read it for a few minutes, then he slammed it down on the table.

"Why can't he make up his mind." He said, more to himself than the rest of the room.

"What is it? What has that foolish Angel done now?" A general questioned.
