Poems are supposed to be pretty
Poems are supposed to be filled with love
Poems are supposed to be romantic
Poems are supposed to be everything that mine are not
My poems are raw
My poems are full of emotion
They are full of darkness and rage
Full of everything poems are not supposed to be
My poems are focused around life
And everything that comes along with it
Love
Hate
Light
Dark
Life
Death
My poems are me in my entirety
My poems are new beginnings forged on old feelings
My poems search for something to hold on to
My poems look for a ray of light in a world where the only thing you can see is darkness
My poems open up wounds that were beginning to heal
My poems are my heart and soul
My poems aren't the prettiest
My poems are everything I am, and everything I don't want to be
I like this poem a lot. Something I don't say much about anything I do. This poem holds power. It holds something that I love. Not the power, but just confidence I guess. This poem is raw and full of emotion. I really like it, hopefully you do too?
