Being with people I know is a good thing. I feel more comfortable around them. But when I feel like something is wrong I have to try to make it better.
Hi, I'm Lilac and as you can tell my life has been hell. I'm struggling because I can't tell whose faces are whose any more. I struggle day in a day out. Long ago I notice something pop up on my phone. I read it of course because us teens can't resist being on our phones for any less than a second. I stopped everything and read what it told me.
'You don't know who I am but I'm coming for you.' It said. Not knowing what to do I ask who it was I asked for a picture.
They send the picture.
I examined the picture trying to work out a small detail that could make me recognise them (I have small details of everyone I love so that I recognise them later on).
I got nothing from it. I didn't recognise who it was. I panicked again and then the hairline or the earring strikes me and I realise it's Emma Stone.
I texted them back saying not to be stupid and that they should just tell but. But I got nothing. About a week later, I had gotten another text. This one had read 'I see you fatso'. I tried to discreetly look around for any sign of someone it could be but you guessed it nothing. I had finally decided I would tell someone but I didn't know how. There are so many different people you could tell but you never know who to trust. So I told my favourite teacher at school hoping he could help. He told me I had to tell the police, that if I left it too long it would go further, that it won't count. So I told the police. They were so kind to me and I over come what I thought was wrong to do. They found the person. But they also found the cuts, the cuts I was making. I knew I would stop once it had stopped. I did. That's my story.
Everyone suffering from cyberbullying should never keep it to themselves always tell someone you trust. They don't always have to be a teacher or someone in your family. The police will always help but they want this to stop. Always talk to someone.
Someone will be on your side.
