Zombies

Graser, Matt, Catherine, and I were in the hummer on our way to the store. I was staring out the window when I noticed a big group of people running the opposite way that we were going. That's when I saw someone who looked like they got hit by a bus. They looked rotten and gross. I was shocked. I could not breathe. I pointed it out to Graser. He stopped the hummer, opened up the window and handed me a five-seven. I had an amazing shot by the way. I started to aim and "BAM!" I shot the zombie right in the head. The !zombie fell flat on the ground. As we arrived at the store everything looked normal but it was empty. No one was working there, and no one was shopping so we just took what we wanted and needed and just left. No point in paying money. We were on our way back home and all you could see was people running away from zombies. I just couldn't rap my head around this being the "zombie apocalypse." We got home and ran downstairs. "We are back!!" I scream. "Heyy" H said as Graser sat down and I sat on his lap. "How about we play some minecraft? Do you have any computers around here?" Graser asked. "I don't know, let's look around." I say. We finally found a whole room with amazing computers in it. There were about 10 in there. We all sat down and decided to play some MCSG. Right before we get into a game my mother's hologram pops out and scares all of us. "Soon the world will lose internet and cell service. But your father and I have invented these computers and cell phones so you will not. You will always be able to talk to people so if you guys get separated you will always have your phones." My mother tells us. "This is awesome!" Catherine says. Everyone agrees and starts to play. After playing for a few hours we go into a gadget room. Here comes the hologram. "This children is the gadget room. This is where me and your father stored you guys some high tech stuff. Here are the cell phones I was talking about earlier." the hologram says. We all take a cool looking cell phone and inspect it. Matt says "This is so cool!" "What else do you have for us Mrs. Carper?" Greg asks. "Here are all the weapons. When Oasis was little we put her threw training. We taught her how to survive on her own, how to shoot, and how to hide." My mother says. I think back to when I was about 8. I do remember my parents teaching me how to do all those things but I thought it was just for fun. "Oasis, will you teach each and every one of your friends how to shoot?" the hologram asks. "Yeah, sure" I say with a low soft voice. "Okay children, I will leave you alone to get back to whatever." the hologram says and turns off. "So, babe. When does training start?!" Graser asks. "Tomorrow at 12:00pm. But we need to figure out sleeping situations." I say. "We have 8 beds." I say. "Okay how about me in a bed, Jordan in another, Greg in another, H in another, Matt in another, Catherine in another, Toby in another, and you Oasis and Graser can share a bed." Mitch suggested. "Is everyone okay with that?" I ask. Everyone agrees and we all go to our own rooms and get ready for bed. I was kinda wondering why Catherine and Matt were not sleeping in the same bed. I go and check up on my little brother Toby. He is a very smart 6 year old and acts like he is 12. "Hey baby brother. How are you doing?" I ask. "Okay I guess. I mean with the stupid zombie apocalypse." He says. "I know it's going to be hard but you need to stay with one of us. But only stay with either me, Graser, H, or Catherine ok?" I say seriously. "Okay I promise." He says. "Okay now go to bed. Tomorrow I'm going to teach you how to throw a knife. Come and get me if you need anything. I'll be in the other room with Graser." I say and walk out of the room. "Hey babe, what's wrong?" Graser asks. "Nothing, its just I don't know how im going to keep everyone alive and my little 6 year old brother. I'm just scared." I say and tear falls down my face. Graser comes and hugs me. "It's okay. It will be okay. I'm here for you." Graser whispers in my ear. We lay down and I fall asleep in Graser's arms.
