Banned from my home,
now lost in the dark,
searching for a meaning,
my part in this damned life.
Running in circles,
as my mind spins,
faster, and faster, losing
my breath...and my stomach.
I can't get through.
I can't make it through.
How do I get rid of
this wall?
"I want to go home."
The only thought going
through my head,
as slowly, I go insane.
I punch the wall,
bloody my knuckles,
scream murder.
And promptly pass out.
I come to,
and the wall has vanished.
As I sit up,
I see light.
Wait, but,
I'm not dead...
No, that light is not
THE light.
I stand up
on weak legs,
and stumble to the light
like a newborn foal.
As I come closer,
I see a silhouette
of light.
It takes on a familiar shape.
I fall into a pair of arms,
the oh-so-familiar arms
of the one I love.
The one I cherish most.
I feel...different now.
Not so hopeless.
I realize now
That I've come back home.

Some Good Ol' (Depressing) Poetry
PoetryA collection of poems, mostly about my feelings and my life (not trying to sound so narcissistic...my poetry is actually quite depressing for the most part). I'll add more as time goes on.
