Noah picked me up on the way to 9th grade. "Hey Ziva" he said as I grabbed my backpack. We have been dating for a little over a year now and we love each other more than anything in the world. We were each other's first kiss and first love.I am a Libra and Noah is a Gemini. The perfect zodiac signs for each other, and the perfect people for each other.
When we got to school we met up with my friends Jess and Cassie, and Noah's friend Sheldon. We all got along really well. We have a group that we usually hang out with, Ziva, Jess, Cassie, Noah, Sheldon, Lucy and Greg. We call ourselves roar squad, just for fun. Lucy and Greg were in there group but were usually were doing something else after school. We always meet at lunch and sit together.
The bell rang and it was time for school to start, my first class was algebra. Algebra isn't my favourite but im good at it. But my teacher is not nice, his name is Mr.Horwen. I'm pretty good at most subjects and I get pretty good marks. My other classes this semester are biology, visual art, and French. And now I'm stuck in algebra.
Art is my favourite subject. I love it so much, if I could I would do it all day everyday. When I grow up I want to be an artist. I'll be the next di vinchi or Michael Angelo. My friends say I'm really good. I love doing realistic paintings of landscapes and people.
I even work at fairs drawing pictures of people. Hopefully soon I'll have my big break! I have every art tool you could ever imagine.
The bell rang to start biology. We had a test last week and we will probably get our tests back today. This is my one class with Jess and we sit beside each other everyday. Ms.Gibbon is my biology teacher, she's nice I guess. "Today you will get your tests back" she announced to the class. She handed out everyone's test, when she gave me mine she smiled and said "Marvellous job, Ziva". I looked down at my test and say A++ written across the top, I was ecstatic!
The end-of-school bell rang so me and Jess went and met up with the roar squad. Noah walked me home from school as usual and everyone else went there separate ways. Me and Noah decided to go to his place. It's better than hanging out at my place, I'm glad I spend most of my time at Noah's. Noah has a brother that's 3 years older names Liam. He's pretty nice I guess, but he looks nothing like Noah. It took about ten minutes to walk to his house from school, including breaks to pet some neighbourhood dogs. We finally got to his big brick house on North Street.
When we got there it was just us and Liam. We walked in and Liam was in the couch. We started to head up stairs and Liam said "Don't forget to do your homework" "we don't have any homework" Noah replied "sure you don't" exclaimed Liam. So we turned around and just kept walking up the stairs and went into his room. I knew I couldn't stay for long because he was going out for dinner with his family. "Your so lucky you get to do stuff like this, I wish I could" I blurted. "What do you mean?" Noah questioned I sat down at his desk and answered "my family would never be able do that"
"You just need to get your mind off of it, want to go for a walk down to the park" said Noah. So we walked down to the park and sat on the bench and talked for a bit. We watched the sunset then remembered about Noah's dinner. So we rushed home and Noah's family was ready to leave. We apologized and they started to leave so I went to walk home. They offered to drive me but I just wanted some alone time to just think. I always just like to be by myself every once in a while.
When I got home my family was sitting on the couch watching a movie. So they invited me to come watch with them. I sat down and realized I had at text, it was from Jess.
Jess: Hi!!!
Ziva: Hi
Jess: hey, what's up
Ziva: Not much, just got home from Noah's, u?
Jess: I have big news
Ziva: Tell me!!
Jess: Luke asked me out :)
Ziva: that's so amazing, you've liked him forever I'm so happy for you
Jess: got to go, we'll talk about it more tomorrow!
I layed down for a little and just thought about Noah. How lucky I am to have him. How great he is for me. How much I love him. He's just amazing! His blond hair that is perfect, his blue eyes that look like the ocean. I wonder if he thinks about me as much as I think about him, I just love him so much.
I had heard that soccer tryouts were tomorrow, I was on the team last year so I think I'll make it this year. We were the Nashville Narwhals! I played all the sports that I could, the school could only help me so much. I love sports, it lets me forget about everything else and just focus on the game. My favourite sport is lacrosse, I have been playing since I was 6 years old. Thats where I meet Jess for the first time. It was my first year in Nashville and I used to be really shy.
Lacrosse tryouts were last week and I made the team. I was so happy but I wasn't very surprised. Jess made it too, that made me even more happy. Lacrosse practices were Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and soccer practice was Mondays and Thursdays. Lacrosse is literally my life, I don't know what I would do without it. I love being part of the Tennessee tigers!
I live in Nashville, Tennessee and when I was 5 I lived in Atlanta, Georgia. I still remember my school and some of my friends. I lived on the streets, there was no where else for my family and I to go. But Nashville is my home now and I love it. It's where my friends are , where my school is, where my sports are, where Noah is. It's where my home is, it may not be a house but it's my home. I didn't want to move but now I'm so happy we did, I couldn't imagine my life without it, I love it here.
