Katy's P.O.V

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!" I rolled my eyes at my over dramatic older brother "If you get any louder I swear people on the other side of the world will hear you." Logan giggled at our older brother and said " You know Danny it's not that bad, it will be good to be out of hiding for a bit." "They're right you know" "AHHH!!!" Logan and I both jumped when Jayden came out of nowhere, "How many times do I have to tell you to stop that Jay, YOU ALMOST GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK!!!!" I yelled at Jayden for scaring me. Jayden just smirked at me and sat on the couch. "Anyway we are going whether you like it or not Dan so you can either stay here or join us. So what'll it be??" Daniel sighed, "Fine let's do this."

Ok wait a minute... this makes no sense to you, right? well that's because being the idiot I am I started right in the middle of our story! So let's start from the very beginning shall we?

Hi my name is Katy Shepard I am your average 18 year old girl.....wait a minute did I just say average? I should have said darkest, creepiest and most anti-social 18 year old girl; well that's what everyone who meets me says. I am actually even more different than people say. You see, I'm actually a demon and I live in the demon realm Galerium, which for a demon realm is actually a nice place to grow up, until you turn 10 and shit hits the fan; your o-so-protective mother disappears leaving you with your father who's goal in life is to make mine miserable.

The only people in this god forsaken hell hole of a realm that either make me feel normal or safe are my older brother Daniel, who in all honesty is way too nice for his own good well I guess that's what you get from an angel.... Yes I said angel, my older brother is an angel, he inherited that part from our mother. Daniel is 20 years old and is still waiting for our mother to come back home, no matter how many times I tell him she's not coming back. He's such a momma's boy. The other person that makes me feel normal is my best friend, Claire. She is literally the only human that I have heard of to ever volunteer to live in the demon world. Like why would anyone do that? But whatever she seems happy and I'm glad she's here, cause if she wasn't I probably would have killed my father 8 years ago. Oh, then there's my puppy, his name is Harppy. He is quite adorable.

Oh my god I have been rambling on and on haven't I? Ok ok so I'm gonna stop talking now so we can get to the story.

"Katy-cat where are you this isn't funny anymore." Claire stomped her feet like a toddler and pouted, "Claire stop acting like a baby, I'm right here god your blind" I said to Claire from my spot on the floor literally right in front of her. "It's not my fault, you blend in with the floor well except for your silky white hair...AHHHH I did it again didn't I" Claire freaked out.

I just rolled my eyes at my black haired friend, she has a tendency to zone out when she talks about my hair, which makes no sense right? Hair's just a thing on your head " You know Katy-cat if you put in contacts and dyed your hair you'd look more normal and people wouldn't bug you as much" Claire stated snapping me out of my thoughts. As she said that I stared at the ceiling, she's right ever since I was little I've been picked on because of how I looked. I have two different colored eyes my left eye is ocean blue and my right eye is blood red with a X design in the middle. And if that wasn't bad enough my hair was white and I mean white like chalk for a chalkboard white."If I do that then all the people who picked on me will know they got to me and-" "KATY WHERE ARE YOU". Oh boy this is not gonna be a good day for me.

"Katy there you are" My brother Daniel cries while walking into my room. "What do you want Daniel can't you see I'm-" " DANNY!!!" Claire cried as he walked in. She went to hug him but he swiftly avoided her hug by side stepping, Claire face planted on the ground and groaned. "Anyway Katy, dad wants us to meet him in his chambers for an important message apparently it has something to do with mom and why she's not around" Daniel said with a glimmer of hope in his eyes. Now it was my turn to groan" Dear god I'm not going" I said with a scowl on my face.

At this point Claire was off the floor and clinging onto my brothers arm " Aww come on Katy-cat you should go talk to your dad". I rolled my eyes for like the fifth time in like the past hour "I said I'm not going and that's final" Daniel looked hurt for a moment but then the look disappeared "Katy please I don't want to hear any of this alone I need you to come with me please." I looked at my brother to see his eyes were covered by his shaggy brown hair. When he looked at me, the beautiful green eyes that were always filled with joy were now filled with sorrow and pain. I finally gave in with a groan as I stood up"Fine I'll go see the devil just don't look so sad it makes me feel weird inside". Daniel's face brightened up and he had the brightest smile on his face "Hehe I knew you would say yes" Claire was giggling uncontrollably next to him. "Ok I was just played by my brother who is supposed to be more mature, sigh this better me worth it" I thought to myself.
