Missing Pieces

Infirmary

Hiroki finally makes it. Behind him seconds later arrived Sam. The two finally catch their breath as they walk up to Tamiya and the unconscious Milly.
"Milly! What happened, Tamiya? Is she alright?" He asked her. Hiroki was really concerned.
"I don't know. I just got here and saw her like this." She tells them.
"Jim said she'd collapsed halfway down the stairs, hurt herself pretty bad." Samantha explains to them.
"But is she alright, is what I'm asking!" Hiroki screams out, upset.
Walking in, came Nurse Yolande.
"What are you three doing here?" Wrapping both arms in front of her chest.
"Nurse Yolande. I'm Milly's close friend, Tamiya. We work for the Kadic News Club." She tells her.
"We saw Jim all lonely and sad. So we asked to see what was wrong and told us what happened. So we came here to check in on Milly's health." Sam tells her, even though she was only saying half of the truth.
"I understand. But you can't just barge in here. And Ishiyama? Why are you here? Are you also a close friend of Milly?" She asks, then everyone had their eyes on Hiroki.
He looked down on Milly, sad. He gets close to Tamiya, holding Milly by her hand. He gets a grasp. Then looks at the nurse.
"Yes I am." With a serious face.
"Well, I can't have you all in here. You have to wait outside until she is up and well. Understood? Now go." Yolande points back to the door they came from and one by one they leave. First, Sam. Then, Tamiya.
"C'mon Hiroki." Sam holding the door for him. He takes a moment to look at Milly's face.
"I'll be back for you, Milly. I promise." He slowly let's go of her hand and walks out with the rest of them.
The three step out of the infirmary in hopes of a miracle.
"Why did you run off like like that, Tamiya? You could've told us that you were leaving." Sam tells her.
"That's my best friend. If you think I'm gonna just wait -"
"I understand, Tamiya. Still, that was stubborn of you to do."
"Yeah, tell me about it. I crashed into Delmas on the way over here. Boy, he looked pretty pissed." Hiroki said.
"Yeah, I did too. You're right about that." Sam suddenly stops talking and looks around.
"Hey. What's wrong?" Tamiya asks.
"Yeah, why the weird look?" Hiroki asks as well.
"Where's Laura?"

"Here is the cafeteria where we get all you can eat from our chef, Rosa." Laura explains with a not so happy face.
"Nice. But I think we already came around here earlier after you showed me the gymnasium." The new guy tells her.
"Oh, right." Shaking her head. She pulls out the school map and looks for the next destination.
"You know what, let me just show you the dorms. Then we'll call it a day, okay?" She said, tired.
"Boy, you look like you had a long day. It's all good, though. I already got most it figured out already since I been here before." He tells her.
"You do? Oh, what a relief - I mean, that's great!"
"Yeah. Great for you. So the dorm building is?"
"This way. Haha, follow me." She tells him as the two walk away to their final destination.

Meanwhile..

Hallway

"I remember bursting in through the doors here crashing onto the principal and this guy. I think I knocked him out." Hiroki explaining to Tamiya and Sam.
"Then what?" Tamiya asks.
"Then I came in and bumped into Delmas and knocked that guy down, too." Sam was scratching the back side of her head, smiling in embarrassment. Hiroki laughs.
"And you say I'm the clumsy one?" Hiroki laughs. Tamiya gets annoyed, slapping him on the back of the head. "Ow, hey! What was that for?"
"Quiet, already will you? This is serious. What if XANA launched an attack and captured her?" Tamiya wondered.
"Then we go to the factory. I mean it's not that hard, is it? We save the danzel in distress from evil by going to Lyoko. Make an epic entrance with Sam. Throw out my massive Shuriken to those evil monsters while Sam claws their eyes out. Then I enter the tower. We save Laura. Launch a return to the past. And finally, act like it never happened before." Hiroki smiles.
"Wow, you really thought this through." Sam said smiling.
"Okay, but you forgot one thing." Tamiya lifts her finger up in in front of his face.
"Hey, careful. Don't poke his nose. You might not like what he has in there." Sam joking around.
"What? Did I miss something epic?" Hiroki wondered.
"Yeah. Where am I in all this?"
"Oh yeah. I almost forgot. You'll be out distracting whatever XANA has while we -" Tamiya throws a slap at him, but misses.
"You want me to be bait you jerk!"
Sam simply laughs as she chased after Hiroki. Then, she looks around and sees Laura walking and talking with a guy.
"Well, you'll have to save that for another time, guys. Look." She points out to them.
Hiroki and Tamiya stop and see Laura and that guy.
"Hey, I know that guy." He says to them.
"You do, who is he?" Sam gasped and asked.
"Yeah. Isn't he that guy you knocked down with the door earlier?" Sam responds with a slap to the other side of his cheek. "Ow!" Sam was embarrassed.
"Hey, you knocked him down first, you know." Sam reminds Hiroki.
"He looks alright to me." Tamiya says checking him out, smiling.
"He's a bit too old for you, don't you think?" As Sam walks to Tamiya, bumping her shoulder to shoulder.
"What? No. That's not what I meant. I mean he looks good and all. But that's not what I -" Tamiya gets interrupted by Hiroki.
"Aww. Tamiya's in love. Tamiya's in love." He sings out.
"Why you little!" And the chase continues.
"I'll check him out while you play tag. I don't mean it like - ugh! You knlw what I mean!" Sam corrects herself. But the two kids didn't even pay attention. So Sam follows them to the dorm building.

Dorm building

The two laughed and talked. Laura was really having a good time. She never really talked to anybody this long. Especially a boy.
"So you said you been here before? For how long?" She asks him.
"Oh, not that long. It was only for a few minutes. I met Delmas and Jim before from the first time I arrived here." He says to her.
"Oh, really? That's nice. Well I hope you like it here at the academy. But why did you leave so soon? Did you even register?
"Apparently, no. My family wanted me to be closer by to them than with my cousin. But since we moved to the city, it was time to bring me back here to Kadic and this time be registered as a full time student here in the academy."
"Maybe we can hangout sometime?" Laura said, nervous.
"Yeah, sure. I mean I don't have any friends yet here. So lucky you, right?" He gives her a wink. Laura smiled, blushing.
"Me? Your first friend?"
"Yeah, why not. Do you have friends here?"
"I do, actually. Maybe you'll get to meet them tomorrow." She smiles at him.
"Well that sounds great. Anyway, do you know which one of these doors lead to my room?"He reminds Laura.
"Oh right!" She pulls out the card Mr Delmas gave to her.
"Okay, so it's going to be right -" she stopped and looked to him. Then to the door that was next to him. "Here."
A struck of silence as the two face the dorm where Jeremy Belpois used to live. He looks at the door for a moment and sees the picture of him on the floor.
"He's a student here at Kadic -"
"- I know." He interrupted her. He couldn't stop looking at the picture. He pulls out a key from his pocket and puts in the door knob. He twists it to unlock the door and opened.
"It was really nice talking to you -"
"Laura. Call me Laura."
Sam was by the wall, creeping on the two "lovebirds." She couldn't wait to tell the others.
Still looking down at the picture, he slowly closes the door, until she approaches him one last time.
"Hey, umm... I never got your name. And your cousin? Who is he?" Laura says to him. He looks up to her and tells her.
"Patrick. Patrick Belpois. And I'm Jeremy Belpois cousin." He tells her.
Laura's eyes opened wide. Sam overheard and couldn't believe it either.
"Patrick Belpois?" The two said together.
"Well, it was nice talking to you, Laura. I'll be seeing you around. Good night." The door closes in front of her. Laura gasped. She started to feel lightheaded. About to pass out, Sam rushed to the rescue.
"I got you." She grabs her as the two walk back upstairs to her room.
"Patrick. He's..." And the two walk up.

Infirmary

Milly wakes up getting a vision again. She saw William go to the Forest and enter the sewers. She rubbed her head around with both hands thinking it's just a dream. She doesn't remember following William Dunbar to the Forest.

Laura's Dorm

"Laura, we have to tell the others." Sam tells her giving her a bottle of water. She drinks her water, shaking her head.
"No. This has to stay between us, for now."
"What? Why?"
"And have them overreact and bring up what happened to them and how there's a virtual world inside the Supercomputer located at the abandoned factory? No way."
Coming up the stairs overhearing some of the conversation was Milly. She listened for a bit, then left to her room.
"For now, we wait."
"Wait for what?" Sam asks.
Milly enters her room, remembering where she left the paper about William. She picks it up and stares at it.
Then Laura says, "Until we find all the missing pieces."
Milly lays down onto her bed and rests.

Belpois Dorm

Patrick looks around to make sure nobody was watching him. He closes his eyes and focuses.
"All right, then. Show me." He says, as if he's talking to someone. His hands begin to glow and then suddenly, his whole body.
Laura continues, "And put them together." Ending her sentence.
