A Commoners Love

Prologue

My name is Kaizaki Shin. My first name is Shin.

I'm 15 years old

I'm not that good looking nor am I ugly, I guess I'm in the middle.

Im not particularly good at anything.

But I like studying.

Above all else I guess Im just normal.

Or what they call a commoner.

It was already our last year for middle school. I can see people talking about what highschool they were going to. Seeing how I still can't decide someone tapped my shoulder.

It was my friend sitting beside me, his name is Hirata.

"What is it?" I answered as if I was annoyed by him.

"I was going to ask whether you already decided which highschool you would go, but judging from your face I guess not." Hirata said as if he was making fun of me.

"Easy for you to say because you already chosen one."

"Oh! How about going to —"

Hirata was about to say something but was interrupted.

The teacher goes inside in the classroom and the class silences.

Everyone was confused by the girl following the teacher.

But everyone was thinking its probably a transfer student.

Then the class became noisy again wondering who the girl was.

"Now now everyone be quiet."

The teacher pauses and waits for everyone to be quiet and, continues.

"I know you've been wondering who this girl is, this girl i—"

"Hi! My name is Haruka Lisa! But everyone can me Lisa. Nice to meet you!"

"Y-yes what she said..."

I can tell the teacher was embarrased a little.

After all he was kind of bragging it to us.

"Now everyone treat her nicely."

She was smiling at everyone and waving at them.

–but for some reason her gaze was directly at me.

"....."

I was embarrassed and kept on thinking why she would look at me.

"You can now sitdown on that vacant seat."

The teacher pointing at the seat beside me.

The transfer student takes the vacant seat beside me.

She calls me and asks.

"Hi! what's your name?" 

"Umm.. Its Shin."

"Shin huh?... Well nice to meet you."

She greets me with a smile.

Third semester has already passed and the fourth semester was about to end.

What was left was to practice for our graduation.

A lot has happened since then.

And an undeniable feeling developed..

I was in love..

Then graduation came.

I asked lisa to come meet me behind school after the ceremony.

I was about to confess my love to her.

But unfortunately she stood me up.

I was left alone in that place waiting, hoping she might come.

But then she didn't....

After waiting for hours I gave up and went home..

My chest really hurts I was so depressed...

On my way home I kept thinking on the reason why she didn't meet me.

I spent my summer depressed and trying to move on.
