It's all about Gratitude

Annika looked herself in the mirror. She looks pale. Her eyelids are swollen, and dark circles around her eyes. She touched her cheeks, the bruises on her soft skin- the after effects of Daksh's tortures. She was almost tired and exhausted when she returned Oberoi Mansion after Shivaay rescued her. She doesn't remember how he saved her, but her last memory was his face fading away in front of her eyes through the glass wall, screaming her name and hitting the glass tank. Then everything went dark. When she opened her eyes she was laying on Shivaay's bed.
It's been two days since that dark day.
Shivaay apologized her many times. He is genuinely worries about her health. Making her favorite food, reminding her to have her medicines, above all trying to make her feel happy... Shivaay has been doing all these things for the last two days. Annika knows that he is still having guilt elements in his mind. That's why he does all these. Annika decided to help him in his problems. Yes now the great problem is Tia's pregnancy, she claims that the child is Shivaay's. Shivaay is almost devastated and confused. Annika tried many times to convince him that she knows  Tia is lying, this child is her 'hidden' husband's. But Shivaay doesn't know what to do. Pinky is in cloud nine as she is going to become Grandma, and She got a chance to kick Annika out of Shivaay's life.
Before getting Tia's pregnancy news, Annika was all set to go away from Oberoi Mansion and find a job and a rental house for herself. She was really aware of the fact that, Shivaay never gonna consider her as someone connected to him in a named relation. She has accedently married him. It was not his wish, her wish or anyone else's wish. It was all about the situation. So it is better to free him from this unwanted relationship. She has suffered a lot. Accusations, tortures, manhandle, even she faced near death situation.  Her simple life unknowingly undergone many major changes. Shivaay's harsh words and hate filled accusations killed her inside. She felt shame on herself for staying in his house. She decided to leave. But when Tia brought the child news, Shivaay's confusion and helplessness made her to change her decision. She thought Shivaay needs someone's help. She is the only person who knows the real face of Tia. So she vowed to expose Tia. Also she decided to leave Shivaay after that. Yes this marriage is not real. I have to free him.
When she was in deep thoughts she didn't know Shivaay's presence in the room. Shivaay saw Annika gazing on the mirror.
" Annika, what happened? Any problem?"
Annika saw Shivaay near her. She stood up.
"No, actually I was thinking something. I didn't know u came."
Shivaay saw her tired face with swollen eye and pale skin. He felt sad. He remembered Daksh's tortures, her in the glass tank, pleading for life...his sadness turned into guilt filled anger.
"Annika u look so tired and exhausted. I think we have to consult a doctor. U need special medication, nutritious diet to get back ur energy... I can't see u like this.." the last sentence strikes her. She looked deep into his eyes. The concern, care...
For a moment she thought he loves her. Next moment she cursed herself for her stupidity.
" No Shivaay, it is not needed. I am ok. I have experienced more than this...Thank u for ur concern."
Shivaay felt hurt by the word 'thank u' Annika gave him a slight smile and left the room.
Annika, you don't know how difficult for me to look into your eyes, I have broken u, I blackmailed u, I didn't trust u. I was blind, I was unable to control myself...but Annika trust me I will make everything right.
The reality striked him- what I will make right? The relationship with her? No, it can't be right...or how it will be? Tia is going to become his child's mother. Today or tomorrow Annika has to leave this house. What! Annika has to leave? Shivaay couldn't think more.. he ran out of the room to get rid of his thoughts.
Unfortunately he stepped into another trouble on the way.
