" My Blessing"

chapter 1

{ Isabella P O V }

" Bella , Bella baby wake up you have school this morning sweetie". I groaned as I slowly fluttered my eyes open. " But maw maw do I have to go?" " yes sweetie I know you don't want to go because of those mean kids , just ignore them and you will make it through the day to come back and be with me. " ok granma"

I wish it was as easy as my maw maw made  it sound but it's not. All she knows is that they say mean words to me , she doesn't know they hit me , push me down, and pull my hair to. Some times I hide and miss lunch because their so mean. Luckily my favorite teacher Mr. Alsina let me sit in class for lunch , he never asks why I miss lunch , he just lets me eat in his class room in peace. My maw maw is heart and soul she takes care of me everyday and make sure I get fed ,but I can tell she becoming more sickly then she already was. My grandma is 66 , she's getting ill to where she can't watch me as much as she needs to. My maw maw is suffering from kidney problems and heart problems. She goes to this place call dialysis an they take her blood she has to be there four hours every other day. The dialysis drains her and she be tired so some days to where can't come pick me up from school but enough about me.

I know your probably wondering why is she taking care of me if she's sick and where are my parents. Well my mom and dad abandoned me when I was 4 months old. I never knew why they would do that to baby , until I found out on my fifth birthday. My maw maw told me they did these things called drugs that are bad for you and cause you to do harm to others so she took me in and they never looked back.

I was in deep thought as I was slowly getting dressed for school. I always tried to look nice even though I didn't have much like the other kids did. That's another thing they teased me about not having clothes like them and my parents not being in my life. One day the school have a day called " muffins with mom" everybody mom came except mines and my maw maw couldn't make because of dialysis. So Mr. Alsina came by me sat and talked to me. " Bella baby come down and eat your breakfast" " ok maw maw" I yelled down the steps. I finished getting ready then I put my backpack on and went downstairs to eat my cereal. " let me know when you finished baby I'm going to get my purse" " ok" after awhile I finished my cereal and told my grandma I was ready to go. It is now 7:08 , I was just making it to school. " bye maw maw !" " bye baby have a nice day at school" "I'll try".

I usually get there way earlier then the other kids so I wouldn't get bullied on my way in. I went into Mr. Alsina class and he was already there sitting at his desk. " hi Mr.Alsina" " Hi Isabella how you doing today?" " I'm doing ok" I said as I gave him the same response everyday. I went to my cubby and put my things in their , then I went to my seat sat down and laid my head on the desk as took a deep breath. Mr. Alsina is the only person who knows what I go through everyday.

{ RING RING}

I sighed as the other kids began filling the classroom as they put their things up and took their seat. Ok not so bad this morning I thought in my head. " Hey look it's mute" on kid says and points at me as the others start to laugh with him. I put my head down as felt a tear threaten to come out. " Ok class that's enough" Mr. Alsina said in a stern voice. I finally put my head up as He went on with the lesson today.

{ Lunch Time}

{ August P O V }
I watched as the kids rushed out the classroom. I suddenly look back to where they were sitting and seen Isabella sitting their staring at her desk. " Isabelle you not going to lunch today?" I looked at her concerned she shocked her head no as she mumbled something " what did you say sweetie" she finally looked at me and said " no sir I don't have lunch today they took it and they'll bully me if I go" I shook my head in disappointment as I looked at her they bully this sweet little girl every day because she don't have parents like or she is less fortunate than them. I tried to go to the principle with this but she stuck so far up her bosses ass she can't even see it. " knock knock" " come in" I said as the door opened it was my beautiful girlfriend Of 4 years her name is Kennedy. " hi baby , hi Isabelle" she said as she came over and kissed me then hugged Isabelle. " here you go" as she handed me my food. " thank you baby" I pulled my food out and shared with Isabelle. We talked with Isabella as she told us her funny and sad stories like how her grandma is sickly, her parents doing drugs & they abandoning her, and how she has no family really except her aunt & grandma. As we talked more and more it was eventually time for the other kids to come in an break time was up for Kennedy.

{ Middle of Class }
I look up and see a piece a paper fly across the room and hit Isabelle in the back of the head. The kids started laughing and calling her names as they threw more objects. " HEY EVERYBODY STOP" I yelled as the kids drop what they had and look at me. I pointed to the main kid that was bullying and sent him to the office. As for the other kids went to punishment. I then looked at Isabelle she had her head down this time I could tell she was shedding tears , so I went over there to comfort her.

{ END OF SCHOOL}
{ Isabella P O V}

It was now time to go home all the kids ran out to go line up to go home. As I was getting my things somebody ran by me pushed me down. I started to tear up again as I hit my head on the desk next to mines. Mr. Alsina ran over to help me up and help me get my things. He walked me outside to the car pick up. I watched as all the cars passed by and the kids were all gone , then there's me still here waiting outside in this cold winter air waiting on my aunt because my grandma is at home resting from dialysis. " Are you sure she coming today sweetie? , if not you can ride with me" Mr. Alsina said " yes sir I'm good, she's gonna be here" 30 minutes later she finally put up and roll her window down " get in here lil girl I got better things to do then to be picking yo ass up from this damn school" I dropped my head and nodded as I slowly walked in got into the car. " Bye sweetie" Mr. Alsina waved to me " Bye" I gave a small smile as a waved to him then my aunt drove off fast.

{ HOME}
" Hi granma baby, how was school today?" " It was worser today" " I'm sorry to hear that come over her and give your maw maw a hug" " ok" I said as I went over there to give her a hug. " Sidney thanks for dropping her off for me" " no problem ma" " make sure you come to the Sunday dinner" " whatever ma" " I'm serious cause I gotta tell you something" "aight" Later on that night after my shower , I got dressed. I went into my maw maw room to check on her. After I checked on her I went in my room laid down in my bed and cried myself to sleep in deep thought.
