Never Letting Go (ON HOLD, SORRY! X)

Chapter 2

As I walked through the school gates for the first time this year I got swarmed with a small group of girls from the year bellow me.

"Kate! I heard you saw Cody in the holidays! Its that true?"

"Are you guys still going out!"

"My god! I love Cody!"

I didn't answer any of these questions and tried not to olet them get to me, although as much as I tried they did. I pushed through the crowd and left. As I turned around I bumped face to face with Xavier. Oh and to those of you who don't know who Xavier is, he was Taylah's (very hot) boyfriend, they were together for a year or so but then when Taylah moved to Canada she cracked, not able to do the whole long distance relationship for no longer than a month or two, and although she still loved him they broke up...I guess that was one thing we had in common right?

"Woah! You alright?" He asked with his gorgeous brown eyes looking into mine.

"Yeah thanks" I mumbled back.

"Kaaaatttee!!!" I turned around to see Erin right by my side in a flash.

"I have to tell you something!" She urged me not worrying about Xavier's presence.

I look back up at him and smiled "Sorry I'll see you later" just as Erin pushed me away from him.

"Yeah see ya!" He replied.

"Alex is here and he is so froth worthy"

"Yeah I saw, was that him on the beach talking to you the other day?" As we walked towards 1st period.

"It was, he was chatting with me and asking stuff about around here, after that he went for a swim as we went inside to watch Harry Potter"

"Cool" I reply with a smile.

"Oh and guess what he loves to read"

"No way!" I sass back.

"And he can cook too" A male voice laughed from behind us, I turned around I saw a really tall, cute guy, he had brown hair and the most gorgeous blue eyes, they kind of reminded me of someone, but I couldn't figure out who.... I couldn't unlock my gaze from his as he stood their smirking while Erin's face turned a light pink.

"Oh really?" I manage to say.

"Yup, I'm Alex by the way"

"Kate" I said shyly "So you must be the new kid"

"Yeah I guess you could say that" he said rubbing the back of his neck.

"We would offer for you to sit with us but there aren't any guys in our group" Erin laughed slightly.

"It's cool I'm hanging with Xavier" He said pointing to his group.

"Cool well I'll see you later then?"

"Yeah, see ya!" I replied as he winked at Erin before leaving and it hit me, I knew I recognised those eyes, they looked like Cody's except his were a brighter blue..speaking of Cody I wonder what he was doing right now.

As I took my usual seat next to Sarah for Math and felt someone's eyes burning into the back of my head. I turned around and saw Alex sitting there. I just smiled and turned back. He seemed like the player type, I mean you don't wink at a girl then stare at another for the rest of the lesson. Yup, I could see him from the corner of my eye glancing up and down, staring at me every so often. Trust me it was a very quiet, long lesson with our teacher at her desk and deep in concentration with her laptop open as we did our instructed work.
