This story was originally titled 'bullied by Hayes Grier' but I decided to change it because I felt it didn't really describe the story. I promise this story will get better as it goes along! Hope you like it😊
!! UPDATE: I wrote this story MANY years ago before I understood what correct grammar was, and this story is overall VERY VERY cliche and cringe worthy, so I guess if you're into that, enjoy. I republished this because some people did actually love this story, somehow. Anyways, you've been warned, and no matter how bad I feel this book is now, I hope you enjoy :) !!
Hayley's POV
"Hayley Dawn if you don't get up I will fart in your face!" My older brother Blake warns as he stands at the edge of my bed. I sprint out of bed before he could move.
"No Blake please! Not again!" I put my hands up in plea and he laughs then leaves my room while slamming the door behind him. I sigh and get ready for another day of hell.
I put on a black skater skirt and pink sweater. Weird outfit choice? I know. Long sleeves are the only way to cover up my cut scars. Yes cut scars. Thanks to Hayes Grier and his popular posse who bully me everyday of my life.
I slip on my black flats and comb my naturally wavy hair. Finishing up my makeup I take on last look in the mirror. Eww.
"2 more weeks. 2 more weeks until Summer Vacation." I remind myself and grab my bag running down the stairs.
"Ready to go?" Blake asks me eating his cereal. I nod and we go out to his car. He stops at the Grier's house to pick up Nash since he usually rides with us to school.
I saw their front door open, and not only Nash, but Hayes were walking to Blake's car. "What the fuck Blake? Why is that thing riding with us? You know I hate Hayes!" Blake gives me a look and before he can answer Hayes sits next to me in the backseat.
"Really Nash?" Hayes complains and glares at me. I just roll my eyes and go on my phone.
The rest of the ride there consisted of Hayes kicking me every chance he got, and me flinching.
"We're here. Bye guys." Blake says parking in the school lot. Nash and him went their separate ways leaving Hayes and I alone.
"You know that pink top matches your personality." Hayes says. I give him a confused look and he laughs. "You know, because you're a pig!" He smirks and runs to his friends that were over by the front entrance. Figures. I knew Hayes couldn't be nice to me for even a second. I hold my tears back and walk into school.
I walk to my locker, which unfortunately is right next to Amanda, Hayes' Girlfriend, aka the biggest bitch in school. She may be pretty, but she has an ugly heart.
"Hey Fatty!" She and her other bitch friend Melany laugh. Amanda slams me into my locker making me drop my things. She flips her blonde hair and walks away with the rest of her group, including Hayes who just stood there watching them with his big blue eyes.
I pick up my things and continue to walk to first period AP English, which was the only class I liked because I didn't have anyone rude to me in it.
"Hey Hayley!" My best and only friend Macy calls at me from across the room. There weren't very many kids in my class considering AP English has high standards, so we could choose wherever we want to sit.
"Hey Mac, how was your weekend?" I asked and took the seat next to her. She rolled her eyes "Well Blake and Andrea kept bothering me all day!" She complains and I laugh. "Well that's Blake for ya" Blake and Macy's older sister Andrea have been dating for awhile, and he goes over there like every weekend, leaving me home alone because my parents work all day on weekends. Class begins starting and we mostly listen to our teacher talk and take some notes here and there.

Oh great, my last and least favorite period: Math. I have Amanda, Hayes, Melany, and Hayes' best friend John in there. I take a deep breath and walk into class. My seat was right in front on Hayes and right next to Amanda, so Hayes either puts gum in my hair or blabs to Amanda the whole hour.
Our teacher Mr. Johnson taught us stuff no ones fucking heard of, then we worked on a paper for the rest of the time. The last bell finally rang and kids began to pile out. I hesitantly grabbed my hair expecting to find who knows what tangled in there, but I find nothing. Weird. I shake it off and put my books in my locker.
Waiting by Blake's car, I see Hayes walking towards me. Oh great, it's bad enough he has to ride to school with us, but now he has to ride BACK with us?
"Hey" he says standing next to me.
"Hey?" It comes out more like a question but at this point I was as confused as hell as to why he was talking to me.
"What? You've never talked to someone before?" He lets out a little laugh. I roll my eyes and look away from him at some kids fighting over a piece of chocolate. It kinda reminded me of Hayes and I when we first met. We would fight over stupid things, and In the end I would always win. Now things are completely switched around.
Finally, I see Nash's blue eyes appear around the high school building followed by Blake behind. We get into the car and drive to the Grier's house. Nash says goodbye to me and so does Hayes. What's his deal anyway? One day he calls me a pig and now he's being, dare I say it, Nice?
