CHAPTER 1

RINNNGG! RINGG!!

I groaned as I sat up from my bed and hit the alarm clock.I yawned sleepily as I rubbed my tired eyes,I looked next to me and Elsa was nowhere to be seen.She must be in the kitchen cooking breakfast,I grabbed my towel and head to the shower.

TIMESKIP

After I've finished taking a shower,I put on a simple black shirt with a pair of black joggers.I then went to the kitchen and smell something amazing.When I got there,I saw Elsa cooking up some bacons and waffles.I could feel my mouth watered as I slowly approached her from behind,"Good morning Elsa",I said as I hugged her from behind.I heard her giggled and she peck my cheek,"Good morning (Y/n),I made your favourite",She said as I let her go and grabbed the plate on the counter."Bacon is everyone's favourite",I said as I chuckled.
I placed down my plate on the table and grabbed a fork and a glass of cold OJ in the fridge.Me and Elsa had been dating for almost 5 years,we started dating back at our last year at high school.High school wasn't really the brightes time in my life,I was bullied because someone rant out about my sexuality to the entire school,someone I thought that I could trust with everything.

I balled my fist,every time I remember about it,it stings my heart greatly.I sighed and just shake it off,I then felt a cold hand placed on top of mine.I looked up and saw Elsa's beautiful smiling face,"(Y/n),I'll be heading to work now..I'll be back soon",She said as she peck my lips.I smiled and nodded my head,"Okay,have a nice day..and don't drive too fast",I said as I gobbled down my bacon and waffles.She giggled as she nodded her head,she then grabbed her keys and left the apartment.Elsa work as a teacher at our old highschool,she taught the 7 graders.She's also a very excellent teacher,since she's a very smart and kind person.
Me?,well...I work as a cashier at a fast food joint,yeah I know its not much but I always do my best everyday at work,hoping I'd be promoted to a higher rank.I've been working there for quite a while,probably around 2 years now.
I worked at late night shift,since the restaurant is open 24/7.

After I've finished eating my breakfast,I washed the dishes and went to the sofa to watch tv.I grabbed the remote and flip through the channel,I quickly turn off the tv when I saw a documentary about butterflies.I felt shivers down my spine as I laid down on the sofa and sighed heavily.

TIMESKIP~

It was already night time and Elsa is already home from work.We just had dinner a couple hours ago,right now we were watching some drama on the tv.The both of us were sitting on the sofa,Elsa was leaning her head on my shoulder and my arm were wrapped around her waist.I seem to noticed how focus she was when she was watching the show and a smile seem to crept on my face as I steal some glances toward her.

"Roberto,when are you going to propose to me?,we've been dating for almost 7 years now!"

That sentence hit me,I shift my eyes toward Elsa,wanting to see whats her reaction.She looked so content,I shift my eyes back to the tv and continued watching it.
I didn't really pay any attention to the show,I was thinking about it the entire time.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

Rang my phone alarm,signaling its time to get dress for work."S-sorry Elsa!,I gotta go get dress don't wanna be late to work!",I said as I sat up from the sofa.I quickly went to my room and changed my clothes to my uniform.I also put on my name tag,I checked myself out in the mirror one last time,"Looks good",I said to myself as I grabbed my backpack and slung it on my shoulder.I went back to the living room to say my goodbye to Elsa."Elsa,I'll be going-",Elsa was asleep on the sofa.I chuckled and shake my head,I went toward her and carried her bridal style.I carried her all the way to our bedroom and gently placed her on the bed.I sighed as I kissed her on the forehead and I can't help but smile at how adorable she looks.

"Bye Elsa"

I whispered as I left the room and head out of the apartment.I went down the stairs,heading toward the garage that was provided for the resident of the apartmemt.I started the car's engine as it roars to life.I can't believe this old rusty pick up truck of mine still standing,I had it for almost 7 years.I went inside the car and quickly drove away from the garage and head to my work place.
It was a boring and quiet ride so I decided to turn on the radio,"Hey everyone,this is DJ Mikey and tonight, I'll be companying you through out your entire ride! We'll be airing your song requests tonight and first up is 'not the only one' by Sam Smith requested by LilDuDe_69;hope you guys enjoy!"

The beat of the song started,it was pretty mellow and I like it.

You and me we made a vow,

For better or for worse,

I can't believe you let me down,

But the proof's in the way it hurts,

I crank the music up a bit,I don't know why,but this song just hit me right in the feels.

For months on end I've had my doubts,

Denying every tear,

I wish this would be over now,

But I know that I still need you here,

There's a lot of emotion in this song,sadness,betrayal and so much more.

You say I'm crazy,

Cause you don't think I know what you've done,

But when you called me baby,

I know I'm not the only one,

Without me noticing,a single tear was shed.I quickly wiped it away and turn off the radio,not wanting to hear it any further.I sighed,I finally arrived at my work.I parked at the employees parking lot and turn off the car's engine.I went out of the car and grabbed along my bag,I check myself in the side view mirror and head to the back door.I then punch in my card and was greeted by a good friend of mine,Chase.
"Sup Chase,you heading back home?",I said as he nodded his head."Yup! My shift is over and my dog is waiting for me to get home",He said,I chuckled at how much he truly care about his pet dog,Russel.I've met Russel a couple times before and he's a good boy."Sure don't wanna make him wait,well see ya tomorrow!",I said as I waved him goodbye.The sound of the back door creek as he left the room.I sighed and head toward the locker room where we put our phones,wallets and other stuff,also we are strictly forbidden to play our phones during working hours and sometimes its a pain in the ass.

"Yo (Y/n) ready to take over?",Said Eliza,also one of my friends.I nodded my head and smiled,She then handed me the keys to the register and pat me on the back."Good luck",She said as she left.I took a deep breathe as a costumer approched the counter,"Hi I'm (Y/n),welcome to Grillin' N Chillin' what can I get for ya?"
