That One Little Dare

You'll Know Who it is

I woke up the next morning and I was no longer snuggled up into a nice warm chest, very disappointing might I add. I woke up to Luke Bryan blasting from my phone telling me that someone was calling me. Shit, it was 1 o'clock already. I answered my phone.

"You little bitch, I have been calling you all morning! I just picked up the girls and were on our way to your house cause we want all the details about you and Brett. You have 5 minutes before we drag you fat ass out of bed." Kat said to me.

"Love you too Kat. Wait, will you pick me up food? I don't wanna cook and I'm starving! Pretty please?"

"Subway?" She asked,

"YES PLEASE! Does one of y'all have your key?" I replied.

"I do!" I heard Kayla yell, I must be on bluetooth. 

"K, I am going back to bed. Just come up when you get here. Love y'all." I said before I hung up the phone.

I scrolled through my phone and saw that Carter had texted me. 

Carter: Hey Lace, I talked to mom and she said I could spend the night at Johns again. I figured you slept in, I will call you when I need to be picked up. Love you.

Me: Love you too Carter. See you tomorrow. 

My mom had texted me about Carter and the girls had all texted/called me. I rolled back over and saw a note on my bedside table. 

            Lacey,

                I had fun last night. Thanks for listening to me about my sister, It meant a lot. I had to pick up           Brooklyn from her friends house so I had to leave early and I didn't want to wake you. I put my number in your phone, you will know who it is.

I smiled and then rolled back over and went to bed. It didn't last long because next thing I know, my bed is being jumped on by my annoying friends. I opened my eyes and saw them all laughing, but Kayla was missing. I looked over and saw her standing by my desk with her mouth agape. She was holding the note.

"HE FUCKING SPENT THE NIGHT?!?!" She started screaming and waving the note. Then the girls started to freaking out like someone just died. 

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED LAST NIGHT!?! LACEY ANN GREY!"

"ohmygod, he dropped me off and I invited him in. We watched a movie and we fell asleep. That's it. Now I am going to shower. You guys chill here and then we are going to lunch so I can tell about my night and you can tell me about yours." I got out of bed and jumped in the shower.

I wrapped a towel around my body, then went to pick out my clothes. I grabbed a pair of jean shorts, a black tank top, my cheer zip-up, and a pair of white vans. I threw my hair up in a messy bun and didn't bother putting on makeup, who was I going to end up seeing anyway. 

"Lets go chicas." I grabbed my keys and we all jumped in my car. I already knew where we going, perfect hangover food, canes. I pulled into a parking spot, I gave Tess my credit card and sat down at a table. 

While we were sitting at the table, I filled them on the whole Scott situation and my night with Brett. The girls were informing me on what and who they did last night, when the bell hanging over the door rang. More importantly Kat informed me that she had broken up with Tanner at the beginning of the party, it was mutual so she was alright. I had my back to the door so I didn't see who walked in and neither did Kat, but Tessa and Kayla did. The eyes bulged and they looked like a deer caught in headlights. 

"Oh shit." Kayla said.

Kat and I turned around to see who it was. Brett and his three friends. We all simultaneously put our heads down and tried to make eye contact as best as possible. It didn't work. 

"Well, Well, Well, look at what we have here." I didn't have to guess whose voice that was. I had listened to it all last night. 

I was the first to look up. "Brett. I see you actually have friends" I said while smirking.

"Indeed I do, I'm pretty sure your girls know very well. Lacey, this is Logan, Luke, and Noah." He told me as he pointed to each one of them. 

Wait a second. I've heard those names before, HOLY SHIT! I looked at the girls and their faces were bright red, they just nodded their heads in confirmation except for Tessa cause she still has that thing with Jake. Kayla hooked up with Logan and Kat hooked up with Luke. 

"Nice to meet y'all haha." I said as I tried so hard not to laugh at the girls embarassment. 

"You too. Brett talks about you all the time," Logan said.

"Oh does he now?" I smiled back. 

"So what are you guys doing today?" Noah asked.

"I don't know girls, what are we doing today?" I turned and smirked to the rest of the girls. I saw that Tessa was trying really hard not to laugh. 

"Well were going to see a movie after lunch, you guys wanna come with?" Noah asked.

"No, I don't think they wanna come with." Brett said quickly.

"Nope, we would love to." Surprisingly Tessa was the one who said this. Kayla and Kat just kept there heads down. 

"Alright then let's go!" Tessa yelled!

We got up and threw our trash away. The girls and I were going to follow the guys in my car while they went on their motorcycles. I put my keys in the ignition and you just heard a sputtering noise. fuck. I kept trying and it wasn't fucking working. I felt a knock on my window.

"You can always hitch a ride with me baby. You can ride on my bike, Tessa can ride with Noah, Kat with Luke, and Kayla with Logan."  Brett offered.

I tried my car one more time and it still didn't work. Damn it. So I swallowed my pride, apologized to the girls and we all went on the different guys bikes. 

"Don't forget to hold on babe." Brett instructed as he started to speed off.

Well it could be an interesting day.
