i sat on my bed, anxiously waiting for a call from harvey. we've know eachother 2 weeks and finally decided to skype. butterflies were floating frantically in my stomach as i stared at the blank screen.
eventually, my laptop screen lit up.
harvey :)
is calling...
accept decline
i take a deep breath and click the accept button. harvey's face appears on my screen.
" hey " i say as i wave my hand and harvey smiles.
" howdy doodle " he says as he leans back and shuts his bedroom door, " so this is happening "
" no shit sherlock " i laugh.
" language young lady "
" i don't care fight me " i say, then raise my voice a little louder, " fight me "
" i would, but there's a screen in the way boo " he says and my heart drops.
" okay, that sounds way more depressing than it should "
" do you want a virtual hug ? "
i smile at his goofiness but lean forward and wrap my arms around my laptop as harvey does the same.
" hey harv- oh " i hear someone say and pull away from my laptop to see max standing behind harvey.
" hey max " i say and max walks over.
" woah is that charly ?? " he asks and i giggle.
" no it's Ariana Grande " harvey says sarcastically but for some reason max's face lights up.
" wait really ? "
" no, get out ! "
i sit there laughing at the twins just imagining what they must be like in real life.
" sorry about that " harvey interrupts my thoughts.
" it's okay "
we stayed on skype for atleast 3 hours, talking, laughing and getting to know eachother more than we already do. it was great. it almost felt like harvey wasn't an internet friend and merely just a close friend i know in real life that i'm on skype to. however when harvey said he had to go i realised that wasn't true and reality kicked in.

i shut off my laptop after a marathon of binge watching the entire stranger things series... again.
i carefully moved it onto my desk and got comfortable in my bed.
my eye lids grew heavy and i was on the verge of falling asleep when my phone buzzed.
