I am going to talk about wolves. They are the coolest animal in my opinion. What I like best about them is that they are independent when they are teens. I am excited to talk about them, and I am going to tell you everything I know about them.

The first wolf I am going to talk about is the gray wolf and the scientific name is Canis lupus. The first thing you need to know about them is that they survive in Europe, though many live in Alaska, Canada, and Asia. The next thing you need to know is wolves are carnivores--they prefer to eat large hoofed mammals such as deer, elk, bison and moose. They also hunt smaller mammals such as beavers, rodents and hares. Adults can eat 20 pounds of meat in a single meal; is that impressive! The gray wolf has many special adaptations, which can be seen in their physical appearance. Their coats are made up of wooly fur to provide insulation and long guard hairs to keep out moisture. The gray wolf's large paws have fleshy pads and claws for traction and can spread to provide better support in snow. The last thing you need to know about the Gray wolf is their coat color. Their coat colors can range from pure white to brown, gray, cinnamon or black.

The other type of wolf that I am going to talk about is called Himalayan wolf and their scientific name is called Canis Himalayensis. The first thing I am going to tell you about them is where they live. Like their name suggests, they live in India, Nepal and Tibet. The next thing I am going to talk about is what they eat. The Himalayan wolf feeds on small and medium sized animals, including rabbits, raccoons and rodents. At times, they will take down the young of bigger sized prey. Wolves are skilled hunters. Hunting usually takes place at night and ends at dusk. The Himalayan Wolf looks a bit different from the Gray Wolf. Himalayan wolves are light tan in color and have grey shades on their body. Some wolves of this species have white or black shades around the face or along the chest. The last thing I am going to talk about is how to describe the Himalayan wolf which is a subspecies of the Gray Wolf. This is a fairly new species to have been identified. Thanks to genetic testing we now know it is very different from the closely related Indian Wolf.

The last type of wolf is called the Ethiopian wolf and the scientific name is called Canis Simensis. The first thing is where they live. Ethiopian wolves are endemic to Ethiopia, where they are restricted to just seven isolated enclaves in the country's highlands. The largest population can be found in the Bale Mountains in southern Ethiopia. Wow is that cool or what? this is how you can describe a .It is generally similar to a coyote (Canis latrans) in shape and size, and has characteristically long legs and a long, pointed muzzle . The fur is a bright tawny red colour, with whitish to ginger underfur, the underparts, chin, chest and the inside of the pointed ears are white, and the bushy tail is black . Females become more yellowish during the breeding season, and juveniles have a charcoal-grey coat. THe last thing is the coat color ETHIOPIAN WOLVES ARE SPECIAL.Ethiopian wolves have long legs and a long, pointed muzzle and weigh between 11 and 19kg. They are a distinctive bright tawny red in colour with paler underparts and a black bushy.

I am glad to have the experience on telling you something's on wolfs . I hope you had fun reading it as much as i did.
