I can hear them in the walls

chapter 1

Abigail and her family were new in town. They moved into a big house that had been vacant for 2 years. Abigail, 16, was excited to start over with her mom, dad, and little brother. Things were normal for up until 2 weeks after they moved in. Lynn, her mom, was home alone whole they went to the store. Lynn heard a smashing noise from upstairs, thought nothing of it the first until she heard a constant knocking noise. She panicked and ran out the door. When Danny, Abby, and Sam came home she pretended nothing had happened and said she was just sitting outside getting some fresh air. Abby and Sam went upstairs to her room, to watch a movie and eat some food they snuck up. Sam fell asleep on her lap that night so she carried him down the hall to his bed and laid him down. Abby went back to her room and laid down on her bed. She barely got laid down when she heard a knock. She went to her door but no one was there. She thought she was hearing things so went back to bed. After awhile she heard the knocking again. She listened hard to it, she knew that knocking from anywhere. 'Why are you here?' she whispered. This thing has been with Abby and her family since she was born. It is what is known as a Domovoi. A Domovoi is a protective house spririt. There is only one Domovoi, he belongs to Abby. Sam doesn't have one. Her Domovoi goes by Kudava, meaning house mother. Kudava doesn't know why Sam didn't get one when he was born and she doesn't know why Abby can still communicate with her. When they turn 16 they stop seeing them. Kudava, was always beside her. Kudava is the reason they had to leave their old home. She possessed Lynn by accident. She was never the same after it.
