[Prompt: Whatever you write on your skin shows up on your soulmate's skin as well]
I was mesmerized by the thick dark lines beginning to creep their way up my arm. My soulmate was an artistic soul. I'd been working up the courage to write back for weeks now. I pick up the marker and touch it to my other arm.
'Your art is amazing, you're beautiful"
The lines making their way up my forearm stutter for a bit, before finishing the current design. The space right underneath my comment starts to tingle.
"Thanks, we should figure out how to meet up sometime"
Joy and anticipation course through my veins.
"Definitely"
"See you later"
I put down my marker and look over at the fluid lines running along my arm, creating designs stemming from the dead body drawn on my palm. A sign that my dreams will come to fruition
