[Goal] From the bars tv in the corner of the room I am watching tonight's football game enjoying my glass till I see a man enter the room. Immediately looks at me turning back walking towards a table of a group of guys. Looks like he is asking them something, the group looking uninterested two guys stand up with anger the man sitting down orders to get this guy out of his face. Before the two guys even attempt anything he drops both of them knocking them out then rushing the man sitting down. Blood on his fist wrestling each other on the floor breaks the guy's arm, being defenceless grabs a beer glass beating him senselessly. Standing up from the corpse seeing the body dead with the blood splattered all over his face I hear a voice from a phone "The police is on its way miss." It was the bartender running to the backroom hiding. Not too long the police bust in arresting everyone in the scene.

"That is all i know i swear!" He says with the scratch in his voice. "Okay thank you for your time sir", the witness leaves the room with relief. The defendant walks into the investigation room "So what exactly happen Mr.Melendez. In your own words." With the scars on his face and scratches "All I wanted was a drink, the bartender will tell you the same." "She also said you crushed the deceased's skull with a broken glass." Without any doubt "Self Defense! The man and his group they threatened my life" Confused the lawyer was "Threatened you how? Verbally?Physically?" Uncomfortable he answers "What sounds better? He attacked me both verbally and physically." The lawyer Coughing "So... you say you... didn't know or have never met Mr.Smith." With Confidence he answered "No... but I do regret any injurious consequences my action may have caused." "You have quite the legal vocabulary Mr.Melendez. Am I assuming this isn't your first rodeo?" "I had issues." With a smirk in his mouth "I'm better now."

Breathing heavily the lawyer answers "On second thought Mr.Melendez perhaps..." The door opening "Sorry I'm late" The lawyer explains to his partner "Oh, no, no, I was just explaining to Mr.Smith..." Not letting him finish "We'd be happy to represent you, Mr.Smith. We are taking the case. Why don't we start from the beginning?

The witness is walking down the street from the police station till he sees the same two guys that were in the bar when the incident happen. Pushing him into a dark alley threatening his life for the death of Mr.Smith and if Mr.Melendez wins this trial they are gonna kill him in a gruesome way and if they hear anything from the police they're gonna do the same to his family. Being warned by the two goons. Red in his eyes still in the alley is found by Mr.Smith taking advantage of him, coincidence "I need you to tell your story the right way!" Pulling him into a small room, showing him everything he knows about the witness "I know everything about you. Your friends your family EVERYTHING! Jonathan." Throwing him back out the streets he disappears. Jonathan stuck in a unsolvable predicament his eyes turn bloodshot red shivering heartbeating no one to help him.

[Bang Bang]"Would the defendant care to make a closing argument?" "Yes, your honor thank you. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury. I've been preoccupied of late with questions of morality of right or wrong good or evil. Sometimes the delineation between the two is a sharp line. Sometimes it's a blur and often it's like pornography. You just know when you see it. A man is dead. I don't mean to make light of that but these questions are vital ones because they tether us to each other to humanity. Not everyone feels this way. Not everyone sees the sharp line, only the blur. A man is dead and my client Mr.Melendez took his life. This is not in dispute. It is a matter of record of facts and facts have no moral judgment. They merely state what is. Not what we think of them, not what we feel. They just are. What was in my client's heart when he took Mr. Smith's life whether he is a good man or something else entirely, is irrelevant. These questions of good and evil, as important as they are, have no place in a court of law. Only the facts matter. My client he acted in self defense. Mr. Smith's associates have refused to make a statement regarding the incident. The only other witness a frightened young man, has stated that he was pleasant and friendly, and that he only saw the struggle with Mr.Smith after it had started. Those are the facts.Based on them the prosecution has failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that my client was not acting solely in self defense. And those are the facts. My client based purely on the sanctity of the law which we've all sworn an oath to uphold must be a acquitted of these charges. Beyond that, beyond these walls he may face a judgment of his own making. But here in this courtroom the judgment is yours and yours alone."

The judge speaking after the lawyer "Thank you, now can the jury take their stand." Answering quickly "Thank you your honor we found the defendant...."
