Midnight Snack

Grayson-

I turn over and put my hand on the other side of the bed, hoping to feel Grayson. But I don't. I sit up quickly and look around, my eyes still adjusting. I look at the clock and see it's the middle of the night. I sit up and rub my eyes. I groan and walk out of the room. I hear shuffling footsteps downstairs and I stop. I tip toe down the stairs and peek around the corner. I see Grayson looking through the cabinets

"Grayson"
I groan and walk to him

"Oh hi babe, did I wake you?"
He whispers and I shake my head

"No, I couldn't sleep without you by my side"
I say and sit down.

"Oh..I uh I got hungry"
He mumbles

"Yes I see that"
I lightly laugh and he walks into the living room. I run to the pantry and grab a bag of chips. I run back to Grayson and jump on the couch

"Well since we're both awake I suppose we could have a little movie night"
He says and opens the candy he brought. I lay my head on his shoulder and yawn

"Ok, yeah you know it's not like I had anything else to do"
I say sarcastically

"Oh shut up"
He says and takes a handful of my chips. I laugh quietly and turn on the tv. I put on a random movie on Netflix and I snuggle up to Graysons chest. Grayson grabs a blanket and throws it onto me. I smile and kiss his shoulder

"I love you Grayson"
I whisper and eat a handful of chips

"I love you too"
He says shoving candy in his mouth

Ethan-

I wake up and hear shuffling downstairs. I sit up quickly and look around to see that Ethan is not by my side

"Ethan?"
I whisper and stand up. I walk to the stairs slowly and I hear the cupboards opening and closing. My heart stops and I walk down the stairs slowly. I look over and see a tall figure. I slowly walk up to them and they turn around

"Ethan!"
I yell and smack his chest

"Ow!"
He says and rubs his chest

"You scared me!"
I say and cross my arms

"Why? I was so quiet"
He says and eats a handful of chips

"Ok 1 because you weren't by my side and I heard someone downstairs and 2 you were not quiet whatsoever"
I say and he looks down

"Cmon"
I sigh and grab his hand. I drag him back upstairs and he flops on the bed. He rolls over and turns on the tv. I get in the bed and lay next to him.

"So why did you get up in the middle of the night?"
I ask and look up at him

"I got hungry"
He mumbles and eats a chip

"You couldn't have waited till morning?"
I groan and drop my face into a pillow

"I'm sorry!"
He hear him and kisses my forehead lightly. I sit up and smile

"I love you"
I whisper and kiss his bare shoulder

"I love you more"
