Q: What was your inspiration with this story?

A: Gosh, I don't know. I daydream a lot, and oneway I was daydreaming about what I thought Newt's family would be like when the idea popped into my head, and was just too good to let go by!

Q: Out of all the characters you developed, which one was your favorite?

A: Definitely Caoimhe. She was the first character that popped to my mind when I was first developing the story. I love her fierceness and her compassion. She sees beauty in the darkest of things. I also loved the fact that she had two famous older brothers that really toughened her up and made her who she was. She's very protective over them both. I just loved her in general.

Q: What was your first reaction when you watched Fantastic Beasts?

A: Before Fantastic Beasts, I liked Harry Potter, but I wasn't some really obsessed nerd. I respected the fact that it made me a better person, and I was heartbroken when the final book came to a close, but I wasn't a crazy fan. Mom and Dad wanted to have a family night, so they went and took us to watch Fantastic Beasts. I was absolutely blown away by the movie. I loved it, and wanted to buy it straight away. The funny part was that it wasn't until I got out of the theatre that I realized, "I don't know the names of any of the characters!" I had to go home and look them up.

Q: Out of all the books, which was your favorite to write?

A: Probably Married Life. I loved writing about Dawn, and I feel like that's when Credence and Caoimhe began to see each other in a more romantic way. I had so much fun writing it.

Q: Speaking of, what's your opinion on CredencexCaoimhe?

A: At first, I wouldn't say they were in love. I think that Credence is grateful to Caoimhe for saving him, and Caoimhe cared for him as a friend, but when they grew up, they started seeing each other in a different light. It was fun to write, and I love every part about them. I'm glad people ship it as much as I do.

Q: Did you think that your fics would become this popular?

A: (Sarcasm) Yes. I knew from the moment I started writing that lots of people would read it.

Q: In the original version, what happened that caused Caoimhe to die?

A: Do you remember how Caoimhe had bruises on her neck from one of Grindewald's followers? My original plan was to have that follower snap her neck and kill her before Theseus and Alice could save her. I was dreading it the entire time, but when people actually started reading, new ideas popped up that were too good to let go. So I let Caoimhe live and chose to have her become a bigger part in the plot later on.

Q: Are you planning to write more Newtina fanfics?

A: Possibly. But for right now, I'd like to try my hand at original writing (Check out The Magenta Lily!) and a Once Upon A Time fanfic before I come back. It's been so amazing writing so far, and I'm excited to see how things will turn out!
