I think
We all have a right
To get a little caught up
In our daydreams,
Don't we?
I'm sorry
Mine seems to project
Onto you,
I wanted to believe
Your smile
Even though your eyes
Were clearly lying.
I guess sometimes
I think you've got it easy
But that's just like me,
You know,
To forget about your father.
I was so hoping
You were happy.
And I suppose it just seems silly
We've both been pretending
In front of each other
All along.
Who are we fooling,
Anyway?
