y/n was attending Playlist Live DC 2017 when this all started. she was invited by one of her friends to tag along. Y/n didn't know many people attending the event so she was mostly planning on site seeing.
as y/n finished packing, she heard a knock on her door. it creaked open and there stood her best friend, y/f/n, all packed and ready for the 7 hour car ride.

when they arrived Thursday afternoon, it wasn't extremely crowded which was nice. They also put registrations up for people to get their badges early. so, after they put all their stuff in the hotel and looked somewhat presentable, they went to get their badges. when they got up to the people working y/n and y/f/n each individually said their full names and received their badges. y/n was unsure from the beginning because her badge said 'creator' on it. She shrugged it off and kept going on with her night. around 12-1am, she spoke up... "hey, uh... y/f/n ? i have a question"
