The Consequence

The beginning

You may not know me, or you haven't heard of me. That's alright though, i'm here to tell you about my life, and the events happening right now and along the way. I should have started with my name first huh? Oops, sorry about that, my name is Lilac Greenwood.  I am 18 years old. I have joined the military, I am in the Scout Regiment. I worked my way up the ranks, I am a squad leader. My job isn't as hard as it seems, if you know what your doing. I don't really have a family, the only people I consider family are my life-long best friends Mikasa, Eren, and Armin. My appearance isn't bad, but it's not that great either. My hair is black, my eyes are are a light blue almost grey, I come in at a surprising height of "4'6". I put my uniform on, and my day begins. I walk through the halls of HQ, saying good morning to my squad as I pass. When I get to the mess hall, every other squad is there already. Some how my squad made it before I did.Oh well, no one besides my best friends care if I show up or not. I take a seat at my table, Krista brings me a cup of Earl Grey tea. Besides me, my squad, and Captain Levi, and his squad no one else drinks tea. After each squad gets breakfast and sits back down, conversations resume. " Lilac", Armin calls. " Yes Armin", I reply. " What are we doing today ", he asks. " We are doing 3D maneuver gear training with Levis squad today, so don't be late yeah", I ask them. " Hai", they all reply. After breakfast we go and get our gear. We meet Levis squad in the courtyard, right at the edge of the tree line. " Alright brats, same thing as last week. Lets try to be a little faster. Now go", he said. With that our training began. I shoot the hook out and hit the gas, flying through the trees, just like a bird. I felt free. It was exhilarating. our training today, find the fake titans, and slice of their napes. Simple right? As long as no one runs into you. I went through the forest looking until I found one. I shot the hook into its nape and went for the kill, and as i got closer, someone crashed into me. I tried to lodge the hook into a tree but missed and hit the forest floor. When I landed I lost the ability to breathe for a minute. The person that ran into me groaned, I then realized who it was. It was Jean. My god I hate that guy. " Oww, watch where your going Lilac", Jean screeched. " No, you watch where your going horseface", I yelled back. We were standing there yelling at each other, everyone had shown up by then, all of a sudden I was falling. I figured out that it was because he shoved me. Jean shoved me! In those few seconds after, Eren was in front of me shoving Jean back," Don't touch her," Eren stated, calm but fierce at the same time. Of course he would, he sees me as family. He doesn't know how I truly feel about him. Eren is 5'7 with chocolate brown hair and emerald green eyes. His hair was slightly tousled but it looked good on him. His skin was a dark tan color, in the sun it seemed to sparkle, as if he was covered in glitter ( how she sees him). Eren turned to me and held out his hand, I grabbed it and then he took my other one and pulled me up. " Are you okay", Eren asked. " yes i'm alright, thank you", I said. he just smiled at me, I loved his smile. It was always so warm and genuine. His teeth were amazingly white. " Why don't you stick with me so that you don't have to deal with horseface, yeah", he asked." O-okay",I said. He laughed at me and then we shot out our hooks. We looked at each other and nodded, a signal that meant this has now turned into a race of who could make it out first. We both hit the gas and took off. I hoisted myself up over a branch while Eren went around it. I smirked, I had this in the bag. In between two branches while he went under. It continued like this for sometime. Of course we were still doing training, so while we were racing, we were also slicing the napes off the fake titans as we went by. On the last one, I did a spin dash and sliced off its nape. Eren went by and dug his blades in and then brought them back up effectively cutting off the nape. We broke through the edge off the forest, only to be greeted by our beloved Captain Levi. We soon realized we were the first to finish. This was the, oh I don't know how many times I've been the first to finish. This of course was Erens first time finishing first. " Not bad, your time was faster than last week Jeager. Most likely because you stuck with Cadet Greenwood. From now on you stick with her during training, understood", Levi asked. " Yes sir", Eren replied. If I didn't know any better, i'd say he planned this. After all, he was the one who suggested we stick together, and he knew I always finished first. Maybe he did plan it, but i'm not gonna question it. At least I get to spend more time with him. He turned to me and while smiling said," Ain't this great?". " Yes" I said smiling back. I was happy that him being assigned to train with me made him happy. Maybe i'll get to tell him how a feel about him, maybe. I have a feeling he likes me, i could be wrong, hopefully i'm not. " Hey Eren, do you want to go on a walk with me", I ask. " Sure", he says. We start off toward the garden.
