Of course, to ruin it all, my fiancé bursted through the door.

"Annabel, who's this?" Amy asked, raising an eyebrow as she looked at me.

"This is my fiancé. James." I replied, refusing to look up from the ground, as I felt my confidence go from the top to the very bottom.

I felt myself shaking, although I tried to remain as still as possible.

I had no idea what he was going to do.

My mind was racing, as my head started to overflow with a variety of situations that could possibly end up happening.

Despite my better judgement, I looked over at him, as I saw a solid amount of anger upon his face.

I swallowed hard, the lump still present in my throat.

"Annabel, what are you doing in here? What is this?" He asked, his voice nothing short of harsh.

I opened my mouth to speak only moments later, but it was too late.

He raced over, and put his hands to my throat as he pushed me against the wall. Hard.

I winced in pain, my head instantly throbbing from the impact of the hit.

"Are you trying to get away from me?" He nearly yelled this time, before Rory and Amy raced over to me.

I struggled to get any air in or out my body, as I let out gasps for air every few moments.

Both Amy and Rory struggled to get him off of me, but Amy's hard grip on his arm didn't last long.

Her glance went to my wrist.

On it was a bracelet.

That read 'Pond'.

I saw her face instantly change from anger, to pure shock, as she unknowingly released her grip.

"Pond?" She asked under her breath, her voice barely audible.

It was only a few more moments before Rory was able to get James off of me, and I fell instantly to the floor.

I put my head between my knees, struggling for my air, as I felt bruises starting to form on my pale neck.

Amy stood in shock, as she looked at Rory, after he had thrown James out, and quickly locked the door.

Rory looked confused, but he kneeled down beside me, his expression changing to one of concern.

"Are you okay?" He asked, as I managed to catch some of my breath, before he helped me up.

I glanced over at Amy, a nervous expression still plain on my face.

"Your hiding something, aren't you?" She asked, her shocked expression almost turning into one of anger.

And in that moment, I knew I was making all the wrong choices.

I was so stupid. So, so, stupid.
