It was a quiet autumn day at the college. Maria silently sipped her coffee watching the leaves fall on the campus paths. A kind voice interrupted her, "Miss will that be all?" Maria turned back only to see the most beautiful woman she's ever laid eyes on. The brunette blushed a slight bit realizing she had been there half an hour according to the quaint shops clock.
"A-Ah yes! S-Sorry to stay so long I got carried away" Maria stuttered out.
The beauty with the long raven hair and eyes that seemed to hold the sky smiled the most heartwarming smile she'd ever seen. In reality Maria had no intent to go home to her abusive boyfriend, James, dorm where she'd be forced to endure insult after insult and physical attacks.
"It's alright Miss, Say... Have I seen you around?" The pale barista inquired.
Maria knew she would have recognized such a gorgeous girl, Shaking her head bouncing her chocolate curls.
"Do you go to Hamilton University by chance? I swear I've seen you're pretty face before" The girl who's name tag read Elizabeth gave an angelic laugh.
