Its Time

It's now been two days in California. Also it's now the day for the competition.

I woke up at 4:00am this morning... Not a very good start..

Soon, El got woken up around 6:00 from me scurrying around.

" What the heck are you doing up right now?" El asked in her morning voice.

" I couldn't sleep," I said chugging down a glass of orange juice.

" Okay whatever, goodnight." El replied.

I just laughed at her face when she fell back to sleep.

After that, I just counted the hours going by.

7:00... 8:30....9:00...10:00

"TIME TO GET UP SLEEPYHEAD!" I said to El.

" It's only 7:00!" She moaned.

" Actually! It's 10:20!" I say with a proud look on my face.

Her eyes popped out of her head as she began to put her clothes on

I headed into the bathroom and put on my shirt that said "skater", and my jean shorts.

I put my hair up in a messy bun as we headed out the door.

We walked across the street the the park, and saw so many people.

Then we began practicing. Soon after that the competition started. I was so surprised.

There was probably more than 200 people there!

We got in line.... Finally they called "next is McKenna Ashford!"

I stepped up and looked around... All I could see was so many people I didn't know.

There was also a little area with 5 people sitting in it.. But I couldn't see them from where

I was. So I got up there, put my skateboard down, and started riding....
