Chapter 1

Allison woke up to find herself in bed when her alarm clock rang to tell her to get up and get ready for the day.

Another day filled with boring ol' notes and popular cliche girl cliques.

She sat up and stretched as far as her hands could go. She wanted to make this day one of the most non-bullied days ever in her whole life.

You see Allison wasn't THAT popular as you can tell. She was just a normal nerdy girl who likes living in her own little world.

Which is her mind.

Everytime she wants to get away from schoolwork and stress and all of those stinky socks she simply closes her eyes and looks into her mind for answers.

Of course none of her dreams come true because they are just simply dreams and dreams are nothing more but your imagination and your desire wrapped in one big burrito.

Once again I know that when I go down stairs and eat my breakfast I know that I'll go to the same routine over again.

Once she was done tying her sneakers and carried her backpack downstairs she sat down to eat the cereal in front of her.

"Allison! Dear I wanted to tell you something before you went to school."

"What is it mom?" Her mom always says that everyday. As if everyday got better than yesterday.

But no.

It always turned out worse than the last.

"I just got news from your adviser Ms. Kleen!"

Ms. Kleen? What. "Why? What is it about?" Her mom sat down in front of her and gave her an envelope with the school's seal on it.

Her eyes became huge. Well as huge as she imagined them to be. She carefully put her hands out to grasp it. She noticed that she was trembling a little.

Her mom smiled at her. "Dear I know that you don't want to ruin this beautifully made enevelope but I'm excited!!! Come on open it already!"

Allison grinned. Her mom was always enthusiastic when it came to these things. Bt she never really expected much of it.

But inside she knew it was more than her mom's excitement. Hers was bursting at the seams! She just didn't wanna let her mom know because Happiness+Happiness= to she and her mom screaming so loud that they would wake the neighbors.

Along with her dad of course. And you don't want him to get to his bad side 😉

So when she finally had the courage to open it she got the perfectly pressed paper out then delicately opened it expecting something horrible.

But when she read the whole thing:
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKK!!!!"

"OH MY GOODNESS MOM LOOK!!!"

"What What?!?"

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Toll,
I would like to say that your daughter Allison Toll, has won the semi-finals of the Smarts and Arts Contest.

Therefore as she is representing our school, she is invited to be one of the contestants for the championship.

"Woah." I am so lucky to have a daughter like you Allison!" Her mom hugged her and she and to her surprise she smiled.
