Didn't she understand the fear and love relationship? There was a fine line between the two, and he wanted them to stand on that line. He wished for her to feel both for him.

Upon thinking this, however, Drem stopped himself. Did he desire that? He had said in his mind that he wanted her to love him without really even thinking about it. Such a thought raised the question of whether or not he loved her. Well, did he? Personally, he didn't know.

Over the course of his time with her, he enjoyed the fire that burned in her; it amused him greatly. Additionally, he found her looks exceptional, and it was annoying that she couldn't see his actual appearance. The monkey form was a joke, but it was the best that he could do. It was the antique that could move the easiest.

With all of these details in place, he wondered if they equated to that certain emotion. He wished for her to be dependent on him and to stay with him. Would achieving that, though, cause him to take his efforts a step further? Not a single part of him desired to lose her; he needed her to stay.

Regardless, he had only known her for a little over five days, so could that emotion develop that fast? He supposed that it could. After all he had only known Nathan for a short time before he became attached to him.

Groaning out in irritation, Drem leaned back against the bench. His gaze directed itself over to the doe's lips. The kisses that he shared with her were highly pleasurable. Sure, she hadn't been a willing participant in them, but they were still beyond satisfactory. In the past he had kissed others, and they had kissed him back. Despite this, none of those were nearly as enjoyable as the ones which he had with the little doe.

When he had kissed her for the first time, it was utter rapture to him. The following ones were just the same. It wasn't because he hadn't kissed someone in five years; it was more than that. More than a simple spark went off, and he craved that feeling again. He could only imagine how delicious the exchange would be if the doe had kissed back.

Remembering that elation, he figured that perhaps he really did feel that particular feeling towards her. If that were truly the case, then he couldn't ever let her leave. Nathan had managed to escape, but that was because the male had caught him off guard. He wouldn't let his prey get away again, especially if the prey earned his affections at that level.

There was still the opportunity to turn back, however. He could still choose to pursue only amusement, but he found that he didn't desire to go back. No, he would experience that utmost delight again. Granted, going past mere dependence would require him to change a few things.

Waking up, she felt no warm sun on her. Rather, she woke up to surrounding darkness. The sound of the fountain made the evening seem peaceful, but she wondered why Drem had let her sleep for so long. She moved her arm, so that it was no longer covering her eyes, and moved into a sitting position.

Now, with her legs crossed, she scanned the area to see if Drem was nearby. It didn't take her long, since he was sitting on the water fountain bench closest to her. Beside him, however, was a book. It wasn't one of hers, but she wondered why it was there. Was Drem reading while she was asleep?

Presently, he was looking upwards and not at her. She watched him push the book off of the bench. It landed next to her, and she glanced at him suspiciously. In response to this look, he pointed towards the book with his left hand.

Peering down at the book's title, she read it: A Guide to Constellations. Confused by why he wanted her to look over the book, she questioned, "What are you playing at? Is some messed up trick of yours again?" Seriously, did he expect her to forgive him because he presented her with a book?

(F/n) observed him point upwards and then back at the book. She raised an eyebrow and glanced upwards. Due to the new moon, the stars were quite visible, but what did Drem want? Did he wish her to look at the stars with him? That seemed out of character for him. There had to be a catch to this. Unless this was some form of apology from him, but she didn't think the male capable of such a thing. This was just strange.

"You seriously want me to go constellation hunting with you? I highly doubt that," she voiced skeptically. He just stared back at her before pointing to the book again. "Fine, I'll open it," she mumbled, as she thought about what he could gain from doing this. Drem probably wished to have her become distracted, so he could pull another stunt on her. It wouldn't surprise her if he had planted a knife somewhere in the garden, while she was asleep.

Whatever his motive, she opened the book and started to flip through the pages. She would just find a constellation that she liked, and she would look for it. Apparently, that's what Drem desired from her at the moment.

Stopping on Cygnus, she examined the text to see where she would find it. As she inspected the page in the book, Drem hopped down from the bench and moved closer to her. She kept a careful eye on him and wished that she had more light, so she could read the page better. Currently, she was squinting, and she still could barely see what she was reading.

"This would be better if you had grabbed a flashlight, so that I could see the writing with ease," she mentioned, her tone still not bearing an ounce of niceness to it. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the monkey rock back and forth a tiny bit. She rolled her eyes and stared back at the book. Not before long a flashlight was dropped in front of her.
