I woke up this morning next to my boyfriend and had a long warm shower. He greeted me nicely as I stepped out of the steaming hot shower. He talked to me for a bit and asked if I was alright like he usually did every morning. He asked me a fairly odd question that no one had ever asked me before
''Grace why do you always look like you're thinking about something'' asked Tyler curiously.
''I don't know, I guess I just find my brain my little diary I'm always writing it'' I giggled nervously
'' You do make me laugh Grace, that's why I love you'' said Tyler
'' I love you too'' I replied.
Soon that ' I love you' felt fake. I felt guilty. But I had no reason to feel guilty, butterflies in my stomach started to grow as the day went on. I could feel the caterpillar cacoons forming inside of me, but I had no idea what I feeling this way. Tyler could spot something was wrong with me, I explained how I felt, but he didn't understand me, I wasn't expecting him to understand what I meant since I didn't even know either!
It was the next morning and everything had grown stronger. Tyler had said his morning ' I love yous' but they didn't feel the same anymore as I said them back.
''Tyler, i'm visiting my friends for a late brunch'' I shouted in our apartment
'' Okay Grace, see you soon!'' he said back.
