Age 15 6:00 am
My alarm went off. I never liked the first day of school but who does? I slumped out of bed and got ready for school. After I was done I got my backpack and rushed downstairs and through the front door. I was walking to school but something seemed weird. Somebody was watching me. I just thought it was nothing so I brushed it off and kept walking. I had finally arrived at school when I was flooded with hugs from Casey. "Who is ready for their first day of school!?" "Not me." I replied in an aggravated tone. "What's wrong with you?" She asked in a squeeky voice. I just ignored her question. The bell rang for school to start. I was not happy to see what fresh hell I was going to encounter this year. I walked to my first hour class which this year it was science in Mrs. Miles's room. I kind of hated her for what she did to me last year.

"Your late." "But the tardy bell didn't even ring yet." "You are still late." "How can I be late when I'm not?" "Are you being snide with me young lady?" "No I just... " "you are going to the office right now!" "BUT!" "No buts... Go to the office!"

She hated me so much. I didn't know why though. Well, hopefully this year will be better. I finally got to her door but before I opened it I took a big breath and hesitantly opened the door. Nothing that exciting this year. Her room didn't change nor did her attitude. And apparently she thought the same about me. "Your still here, I thought you had moved?" She said. I just said yup and went to the very back seat. So school had started and Mrs. Mile was in the middle of her lesson when a couple of new students had arrived. The teacher stopped her lesson and made them introduce themselves to the class. They said their names were Ben, Toby, and Jack. While they were introducing, the Ben kid was winking at every girl in the room and of course they all giggled except for me, I just rolled my eyes with anger at him. Then Mrs. Mile was motioning them to sit down and lucky me one of them sat by me while the other two sat elsewhere. She continued the lesson but I wasn't listening until I heard the word 'partners'. My eyes shot open because I hate when we have to do partner work. She paired me with the new kid that was sitting next to me. She said to get started and he stood up and moved closer so we could work together. He introduced himself to me."Hi I'm jack." "Hey jack, I'm Y/N." Then we got started on the project which turns out it was to make a poster and speech about the difference between meiosis and mitosis which was easy. "Hey jack, can you get the poster stuff and markers please?" "Yeah sure." He came back with the materials and got started. We did the partner work until the bell rang for the next class. I picked up the poster stuff "I'll finish the work ok?" He quickly stopped me "Or maybe if it would be ok could I come to your house and work on it?" "Ok meet me after school and you can walk to my house with me k?" He nodded and walked out of the room. I put the rest of the materials in my backpack. I walked out and my next class was writing in Mr. Walt's room. I walked down the Hall before the tardy bell rang and quickly took a seat. I had noticed Casey was in the same class an motioned her to come sit next to me. She walked over and sat in the seat in front of me. Just as she did Ben looked over at us and Casey looked at him and blushed. I tapped her shoulder "why do you like the new kid?" I asked in annoyance. "Because he's just so cute!" I rolled my eyes and gave Ben the death stare. But then Mr. Walt called my name and told me to pay attention.
