"So, you're here alone?" Odell asked as he laid down next to her as she shrugged and played with her phone.

"Hailey and Kendall are here but they left to do some shopping and get some food."

"Why didn't you go with them?"

"Because I didn't want to."

"What's going on with you and Trey? I swear y'all can't be good for more than a few months before it all goes to shit," Odell stated as Demi just shook her head.

"Why did you tell him that I was flirting with French?"

"Uh, I didn't. I said that you hung out with me, French, and Kourtney for most of the night but French was hanging onto you like a damn puppy. That's all I said. I would never throw you under the bus like that," Odell explained as Demi huffed and folded her arms over her chest. "Why?"

"Because Trey said that's what you told him and we got into this stupid fight and he doesn't trust me. Me! Yet he's the one who has cheated on me before. I would never even think about being unfaithful to him, especially not with you or anyone else. He just thinks so low of me and it make me feel like..." Demi trailed off then shook her head. Ranting to Trey's best friend about how much she couldn't stand Trey at the moment probably wasn't the best idea.

"Makes you feel what?"

"Like he regrets this whole thing. The night before the party he kind of had an attitude with me but he said it's because something happened with my ring, but is it bad that I don't believe him? He was the one who suggested it but I feel like he regrets marrying me and I don't know what I did to make him feel like that," she choked out as Odell shook his head at the entire situation. Trey was clearly an idiot and wasn't telling anyone why he was being so idiotic.

"Demi, I'm sure he doesn't-"

"I don't want to talk about it anymore because I don't want to cry," Demi whimpered as she shook her head.

"It's okay to cry..."

"No, because this is a 24-karat gold mask and I have to leave it on for five more minutes," she whined, causing Odell to chuckle at her dramatics as he pulled his phone out and sent a quick text to Trey.

"Anyway, what are you here for?"

"I have a photoshoot and an interview and stuff. I'll probably stay here for New Year's though," Demi replied as Odell nodded.

"Did you tell him you were here?"

"No. I'm putting distance between our situation because I don't want the fight to turn into something bigger. We just need space, that's it."

"Well, how about you go take that shit off your face, get dressed, and we can go hang out?"

"Odell..."

"Come on, we never get to hang out anymore. We'll do whatever you want to do," Odell promised with a cheesy grin on his face. Demi tried to keep her expression neutral but the longer she looked at him, the harder it was not to smile.

"Fine. Whatever," Demi giggled before going into the bathroom to wash her face.

While she was getting ready, Odell checked his phone to see if Trey had replied to him but of course he didn't. He really didn't know what was going on with him, but he needed to figure it out before he allowed someone else to sweep in and fix the mess he made, which would result in him losing Demi for good.
