What have you done to drive out hate?

Be kind to others, treat others fairly, and do onto them as you would want done onto you. Everyone all was taught this as children, growing older with these rules. Many of those break them, twist them, and pull them to their wits ends. Why? Why does man continually do onto others things we would not do unto ourselves? Humanity as a species is odd beyond comprehension. They twist words from truths to lies, twist the reality behind the glass of a mythical television set they bore into like vultures boring into the eyes of their soon-to-be prey.

Hate. What is hate? Why do humans hate? Hate is a vacuum, sucking out every single drop of any other emotion you feel, consuming you whole until there is nothing left but a hollow shell of pure anger to fester inside of. Hatred can turn a good apple sour. It can control the thought running through the mind, causing one to think absurd topics and subjects. Hatred controls the tolerance of others. Hatred can cause anyone to hate everyone within a mere matter of seconds. Intolerance. Those who once were friends are now enemies due to a simple misunderstanding. Slowly growing apart, no longer tolerating them around purely out of the festering rage.

Pushing people away caused by rage, being intolerant of other humans is a tough choice to make. When a person is thought to be a friend, bonds are created, emotions are unraveled, an entire new world is opened up from a single human being. When that bond is broken, when those emotions are shredded, when that world is falling to pieces, who ended up consumed by anger? Who ended up consumed by the rage and hatred that they are no longer human? That they are no longer a solid structure? I have pushed manious people away, being consumed by hatred and intolerance that follows. I’ve fallen apart more than several times, picking myself back up again. Falling apart and attempting to pick oneself back up again is a struggling task many face. Some survive till the end, being able to become a structure with more detailed carvings, marks, flowering vases. Some hardly manage to make it through the hate and intolerance, being hollow for drastic amounts of time before finally being a solid structure once more.

I have see hatred and intolerance. I have dealt with hatred and intolerance. I have pushed and shoved those I cared deeply for away caused by hatred. I didn’t think I’d ever be a solid structure, able to hold myself up and not require any persons to help support the frame I reside. Hatred is often caused by the outside of the building. I have thought of someone as a bad structure, the building being obsolete. It made me want to turn my head and look else where. I began to think about why I felt sick looking at the building. The harder it is on the eyes, the worse people throw objects at the building. If the building is simple, it is considered beautiful and perfect. Simple is not always solid. The frame and interior of a building often makes people marvel at the wondrous beauty inside.
The most perfect buildings could be hollow and bland on the inside. The worst buildings to even glance at could be filled with blossoming flowers and wildlife. What do both buildings have in common? They’re still a building. Still a human being. The outside should not determine the hate you have for them. The outside should not be the reason you can not look them in the eye and have a conversation with them. Hatred blinds us and intolerance removes our common courtesy. Humans are all the same on the inside. We all should love instead of hate each other. We are all the same. Why be filled with hatred over it? You are me and I am you.
