"Good luck with that Wayne" dad says rolling his eyes and laughing at the end

"James are you entering Sam this time?" one of the P.A people say to dad he nods and gives me a small smirk

"Of course I'm entering him, he better not let me down" he says still smirking at me

"Since when has Sam let you down" I say laughing a little, he knows I won't but he doesn't want me hurt so he makes me take precautions, like checking out the competition and watching the fights, I don't need to but he thinks its safer for me that way, yeah right, I kick ass in this little competitions and earn dad money in the process, the P.A guys jots down some stuff then runs off

A COUPLE HOURS LATER

To pass the time I went for an innocent stroll, I decided to watch the next fight, I get there just in time for the start of a new match

"Ok next up we have Rebound verses a new wolf to the arena, Alex" The announcer says, I guess Alex is Waynes new wolf, the wolves have been put in the cages ready for the match, I sniff the air, warlock and werewolf comes up, the werewolf isn't dad so one of the wolves in the cages is actually a werewolf, its not rebound because well I've seen him and he is just an ordinary wolf

"On this side we have rebound" the announcer says and rebounds cage door opens and he steps out snapping and snarling facing everywhere

"And on the other, the Rookie, Alex" he says and the other cage opens, a huge black and purple wolf jumps out and growls with so much power I actually bowed my head, wow thats one strong wolf and its black and purple no joke, thats obviously a werewolf, it stands up straight and puffs out its chest, it looks really scary, I would hate to be on the receiving end of that, the crowd is hush and I hear some of them whispering stuff like 'wow that's huge' and some people were feeling bad for rebound by saying 'poor rebound, he's gonna get his furry ass handed to him, again' well rebound is the worst one in the competition and you can tell he's gonna lose

I look at the huge wolf and I hadn't noticed this but its a girl, oh thats bad, poor rebound losing to a girl, my eyes glide over to rebound, he looks scared shitless, I guess he realised if he shows weakness he wont go down with dignity because he straightened up and fear was replaced with determination, he snarls at the she wolf and she snarls back showing off her long sharp teeth, definitely a werewolf and judging by the size an alpha

"And fight" the announcer yells extending the and, rebound launches himself at the she wolf and she dodges with so much grace its like she was dancing instead of fighting, rebound snaps at her legs, well the little guy can't reach higher than that, the she wolf pounces behind him and bites into his neck, a submission move, I guess she doesn't want to kill him, reboound doesn't give up though, I can see the slight movement in the she wolfes jaw, I can smell rebounds blood in the air, I hear a whimper belonging to rebound and the she wolf drops him immediately

The crowd gasps in shock then a huge wave of applause follows along with screaming and shouting, the she wolf pushes rebound back into his cage, I think that was a sigh of respect, she then goes into her cage but the crowd hasn't stopped cheering, she steps out again and howls she is literally say shut the hell up, but nobody can understand her unless they're werewolves, she goes back in her cage once the crowd starts cheering again, I go around the back to spy on Wayne a bit

The she wolf steps out of the cage and walks up to a smiling Wayne, well he probably just got a heap of cash, that's the only way to make him happy

"Wow I picked a good one didn't I" Wayne says scratching behind her ear, there is nothing better than a scratch behind the ear and she knows that, it looks like shes enjoying it how she looks earns a chuckle from Wayne

"I didn't think a big bad werewolf would like a scratch behind the ear" Waynes says with another chuckle, they walk all the way to their section with me following close behind hiding in the shadows, once they get to her cage he stops scratching and she whimpers, I had to fight a chuckle of my own being let out, damn she's a huge sucker for a scratch, lucky Wayne chuckled instead of me, I look at the wolf, she has blood all around her snout, she walks into her cage and lays down and Wayne locks it, he walks off and she looks either side of her I don't see anything in the cages, her head stays looking at the cage on her left but it's my right

"Are you hurt?" I male voice says, wait where did that come from, she shakes her head and I hear a almost silent good, she looks like she's nearly asleep my dad calls me, I quickly run to him before she sees me, dads now trying to talk me out of fighting, this is how it always goes, he signs me up then wants to change his mind, I glance at the she wolf and shes sniffing the air, oh shit, she looks a little suprised, I have to just make conversation with dad so it doesn't seem supisious

"Dad, I'm going to fight and I won't let you down" I say trying my best to keep this conversation rolling and it worked

"I know you'll fight, but I don't want you exetremly injured" my dad says, I look to the she wolf and shes just listening away to our conversation, well I'll let her now what she's messing with

"Dad I'm a werewolf and those are normal wolves with no training in actual combat, I'll be fine" I say, I make myself sound so confident

"Have you checked out the competition yet?" dad asks, this could work to my advantage

"No" I sigh out, well I haven't, I've just watched the fights so I'm half done, dad sighs

"Go check then, so you know what to expect" dad says, let's see how far I can take this, I don't want the she wolf thinking I'm too eager to look

"I could just watch the fighting and not snoop around" I say dad just points towards all the cages, I groan and go, I start at the first cage, normal, normal, that continued for awhile till I got to the cage to her left, I looked in nothing

"Empty, since when was there spaces in the cages" I say throwing my hands in the air, yeah thats right I'm an awsome actor, time to take to the next cage with twice as much actors flare, I make my eyes wide with shock, I make it so believable

"You are no ordinary wolf are ya" I say crouching in front of her, she growls at me, I just stay there showing it had not effect on me, I make sure she is a werewolf so I sniff the air yep she is, I turn into my actor self and make my eyes wide again, you know what I want to see her

"Can you shift back?" I ask making my eyes normal since they were starting to hurt, she shakes her head and scratches at a colour, the warlock used magic to keep her in wolf form, that jackass

"This is the warlocks section, he's forcing you to be here" I say to myself trying to understand the situation a bit better, I hear Wayne coming back, now I have to get outta here

"Just hang in there" I say running off before Wayne catches me, I run behind the wall and continue to watch, Wayne has a bucket and sponge, what is he doing, he grabs her chin and she growls, definitely forced to be here

"Calm down, I'm just washing the blood off" he says grabbing the sponge, I decide to leave and get some sleep, I run back to our house which is near the arena, I jump through my window on the 2nd storey of the house, I take a quick shower and put on my long pyjama pant, I dry my hair and jump in bed, I feel bad for the she wolf, what was her name, Alica, Allie, Alex, yes thats it, Alex, she has to sleep on the cold hard floor, I drift off to sleep and think of how I can get Alex out
