My eyes shot right open i sat up in bed staring into the darkness. The wind blew in my black hair, i turned to look at my window. It was open, that's weird i remember closing it. I got up and closed my window. I felt movement behind me and turned around. That was strange....nah its probably all in my head. I shook it off and went back to bed. My eyes slowly started to close until i saw a black figure. It looked like a person. I started getting anxious maybe this wasn't in my head. No this is crazy, this isn't real i'm just tried. The figure stopped and looked at me, it felt like it was staring straight into my soul. I tried to slowly get up to run to my door, the figure noticed and said with a raspy voice "go to sleep." I immediately froze, the figure lunged at me with a knife in hand!? Shit i had no where to run! So i did what anyone would do in a situation like this...i screamed. The figure covered my mouth with his cold hand "shut the fuck up!" I was horrified at what i was looking at. The figure was a male around my age he had black shoulder length hair, pale skin, burned off eyelids that made him look like he was wearing eye liner. The one part of him that i will never get out of my head is his smile that was cut from ear to ear. He started tracing my face with his knife. "It would be ashame if anything happened to this beautiful face of yours, dollface." He sent chills down my spine, I couldn't move. I was frozen. I felt helpless. He grabbed my chin making my cold blue eyes stare into his crazy ones. "W-what do y-you want?" The boy chuckled. "I want you." Bright light hit my face. I looked to where it was coming from and it was my mom standing by the now opened door. "Scarlett are you okay?! I heard you scream!" I looked to where the boy was but he was gone. "It was nothing i thought i saw a spider." If i had told her the truth she would think im crazy "Are you sure?" I rolled my eyes."Yes Mother." She smiled and closed the door. I looked at the floor and noticed a knife...IT WAS REAL!!?! Shit this is really happening!! A killer is out to get me!!!! Wait.....THE WINDOW!!! I ran as fast as i can and slammed that bitch closed! I put my back against the wall and slid down curling myself into a ball. "This isn't happening, this isn't happening, this isn't happening...im crazy..IM GOING INSANE!!" I tried calming myself down a little. What did he mean by "I want you." Who could ever want me...i'm a monster.
*FLASHBACK*
"STOP IT!! PLEASE YOU'RE HURTING ME!!" "Shut up, you little bitch!" Daddy kicked me in the stomach and walked off. Mommy walked up to me and grabbed my hair "We don't care if you're seven, you're to clean this house and get a job to get us money." she let go and walked off with Daddy. I started to twitch. I felt this fire in me. I got up feeling pain everywhere and yelped. I limped over to the living room and grabbed my secert knife from under the couch. I went upstairs to their room and slowly pushed the door open. They were asleep. I walked over to Daddy and stabbed his head. Mommy woke up and screamed. I jumped onto the bed and sliced Mommy's throat. I looked at both of their corpses and smiled for the first time in what seemed like forever. Killing people felt amazing! No wonder Daddy loved his job so much. I got up and grabbed the matches from under Daddy's pillow and gasoline from their closet. I started pouring gasoline all over the house. I went outside and poured it all around the house. I lit the matches and threw it at the house. The house engulfed with flames. Other people noticed and screamed in horror while i watched in complete happiness and joy. The police sirens ruined the moment and i ran into the woods ignoring my pain and other injuries...until i tripped and everything went dark.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
I snapped back into reality and shook my head.
This can't be real, that boy isn't real. I picked up the knife. "This is all just a nightmare." I laid the knife on my dresser and went back to bed.
