Annnnnd I just found house bunny on Netflix :D Anyways. If this chapter sucks I'm sorry in advance! xo.

Sang's POV

"I don't want you going to far from the house for a while. You lost a lot of your memory and I worry about more of it going or something bad happening to you while you're out and about." My dad and I are sitting in the breakfast nook enjoying some french toast and fresh fruit.
Well at least one thing hasn't changed. However, I couldn't help but wonder why in God's green earth we need a house this big... Marie moved out last year when she finished highschool and apparently mom is in the hospital fighting cancer, which from what dad said is not going well. So it's just the two of us in the huge house. I want to know what he's not telling me. Cause Lord knows that he wouldn't have bought this for me.

"Okay, I wasn't planning on going anywhere except to school anyways." I shrug
"Oh, you wont be going back to Ashley Waters." My dad says as he puts another strawberry in his mouth.
"Uhm, what am I going to do for school then? I am only in grade 10. I have 2 more years after this year. Plus I wanted to go to a decent college to get the hell out of here and make a life for myself instead of having to move where ever your job takes you." My dad lets out an exasperated huff.
"All your courses will be online. Then you can do the work at your own pace. I know you're a fast learner and you want to take more than just the minimum yearly courses. So this way you can go to college faster." I cant help but to be relieved.
"Alright, it's not like I had any friends at my old school, and if I had any at this school I don't remember them. So it's really no harm." I smile to myself. Thank God I don't have to go back to school, I don't want to be the girl with amnesia, that draws way to much attention to me.

After I cleaned up from breakfast and my Dad left for work I grabbed a book from one of the boxes and headed outside. There was a huge tree that looked like it would be so nice to sit under in the back corner of the expansive gardens on the side of the house. I grabbed a blanket, phone and notepad and pen and headed out under the tree.
Not even half an hour had passed and I found myself taking off my sweater as the sun was quickly getting warmer. I noticed that there was new writing on my arm today. One one side was 'Pookie, please don't forget to take your multi vitamin. We don't want you getting sick.'  I smiled at this. I'm not exactly sure why. I've never taken a multi vitamin in my life. What brand am I supposed to take? And how many? So I wrote underneath 'What brand?' Hoping that he could see my response and I could get my dad to pick some up at the pharmacy tomorrow or on the way home from work. As I reached over to pick up my book again a cupcake started to appear above my elbow on the inside of my arm. I couldn't help but to smile. I gathered up my things and went back inside. I didn't want to get sunburn and it was becoming to warm outside to stay out much longer.
Back in my room I grabbed my coloured markers and began to colour in the cupcake that had appeared on my arm. After I coloured that I grabbed my pink marker and began colouring swirls and shapes all the way down my forearm. Before I realized it my whole arm was covered in a beautiful, intricate pink design. Then in black marker on the inside of my arm, over the designs I took my black marker and in a girly cursive I wrote 'She reads books as one would breathe air, to fill up and live.' The quote was by Annie Dillard, one of my favourites that absolutely resignated with me. No matter where this life took me I found comfort in the different worlds I managed to escape through in my books.

Sean POV

I rubbed my eyes as I sat down in my car. I have not gotten enough sleep in the last few days. Ever since Sang collapsed at school I have been running on fumes. I am headed to the school today. I'm driving myself since I need to leave right after my Japanese class to head to the hospital. I open my center console to grab some Tylenol. Maybe, just maybe I'll make it through this shit show of a day and get some sleep tonight. I know as soon as I see Pookie and know she's alright then everything will be a lot easier for me. Plus we had a family meeting scheduled for lunch time so Victor can tell us what information he's found about where Sang has been moved to. Hopefully she's still in the school district so he doesn't have a chance to switch her schools. Plus she's in the middle of a semester. It wouldn't make sense to move her out now.

When I walked into our office Owen was already there.
"Dr. Green, you look absolutely horrible." Owen says with a slight smirk. What an ass.
"Well you're not looking so hot yourself there Mr. Perfect." Owen's smirk quickly changes to a frown. There are dark circles under his eyes and his perfect look was completely disheveled.

After a morning of dealing with Mr. Hendricks and Mr. McCoy the meeting with the boys comes as a relief. All of us are crammed into the tiny office.
"Mr. Morgan. An update please?" Owen commanded at the start of the meeting.
"Well," Victor started, "There is good news and bad news on the Sang front. The good news is I found her house. Oddly enough her father has purchased the property that backs Jasmine and George's property. The property is covered with high security. Top of the line cameras and fence with a coded gate. She is on full lock down. The bad news, which many of you may have already guessed by her absence today, is that her father has pulled her out of school. She no longer attends Ashley Waters."
The whole room goes up in an uproar. North and Gabe are the loudest at expressing their concerns, mostly with curses. I reach into my desk drawer and pull out a pen. I immediately write on my arm for her to remember to take her multi vitamin. The girl has never been to a doctor and I didn't get a chance to do an exam so I'll be damned if I'm going to let her get sick on me. The nice thing is though that the Academy hospital is the closest one to ehr new home. I can have Victor set up the system to alert me if she is admitted.
"We have to go break in to their property somehow. Silas, you could be a plumber offering to check out their house with some made up excuse." North is now grasping at straws at some was to get to Pookie now that we know her location.
"No. Mr Korba, we wont be doing that." Owen cuts in. "Victor, can you hack the security cameras in the home?"
Victor laughs, "Of course Mr B." he says with a smile. Something tells me he already has to he has at least attempted to.
"Good, then Mr Morgan I'm going to need you to set us all up with a new app for Sang with the feed to her house. She may not remember who we are but I'll be damned if she is going to go without our protection."
Victor nods.
"Oy," Gabe shouts "look at our arms!"
We all look down to see an intricate design being drawn in bright hot pink.
"Awe, for fucks sakes!" North bellows "Can't she use a damn normal colour! Now I have to go get a sweater. Fucking girls."
The rest of us laugh at him. But as the words start to appear over the design we all quiet. You can hear a couple sharp intakes of breath as we take in the words.

'She reads books as one would breathe air, to fill up and live.'

My heart breaks for my Pookie. She doesn't know it yet, but we will find her and make her whole again. Tears form in my eyes as I realize how alone she must feel.
'Don't worry my destiny baby, we will make you whole again." I whisper to no one but myself as the room has cleared without me even realizing it.
