You caught a glimpse of Levi's determined face, strange feelings rattling around in your brain like pennies in a tin charity box. His steely blue eyes met yours, as you quickly looked away, a dark blush covering your face as you realize he saw you staring.

What is wrong with me? You thought, confused by your own actions. You desperately needed to focus, for you couldn't fall behind on your training, but you found yourself getting easily distracted, especially around your commander.

What do I say to him? How do explain why I was staring? Would he believe me if I told him I didn't mean to? You thought nervously as you saw him slowly approaching you, slight concern present on his normally stoic features. He placed his soft hand on your shoulder, his fingers gently wrapping around your nervous form.

"(Y/n)?" He asked, worry clouding his dull, grey eyes, "are you ok?" You nodded slightly and looked up at him, a small smile tugging at your lips. A look of satisfaction came over his face, barely noticeable, even to you, as he realized you were not hurt. He nodded at you, took his hand off of your shoulder, and began to walk away.

"Wait, Levi!" You exclaimed loudly, wanting him to stop. You were shocked by your own voice, feeling as if it was someone else who said it, anyone but you. He turned, meeting your pleading gaze once more, a questioning look on his face.

"What's wrong?" He asked you, curious as to why you stopped him with your sudden yelling for him to turn back. You stood, unknowing how to respond, how to explain to him your conflicted feelings. He raised an eyebrow, a sudden interest in your flustered state.

What am I feeling? Why do I always get so nervous around him, so lost in his eyes? Why am I always so happy when he's around me? Why can't I concentrate during training when he is there, always standing in the sidelines?

"Well?" He questioned you, beginning to grow impatient. You stood, opening your mouth and trying to tell him the words, but no sound would come out. You kept trying, forcing sound out of your lips, resulting in an embarrassing squeaking noise, causing you to blush more then you already were. He smirked, ever so slightly, and began advancing towards you. His perfectly toned body glinted slightly in the sun, small beads of sweat glittering like thousands of tiny diamonds.

How can a person stand to be so perfect? You thought, watching him in almost confusion, your heart fluttering as he drew nearer to you.

He cupped your cheek in his hand and brought his lips to your ear. You shivered in excitement, heart beating faster then a high-speed race car. You could feel his hot breath against your neck as he lingered his lips right above your ear, causing you to go mad with anticipation.

He whispered gently in your ear, "Please...get a grip." He pulled away from your ear and gazed into your eyes, eager to hear your response. You sighed and nodded slightly, looking back into his eyes.

I love his eyes. You thought to yourself, smiling slightly at the level of intimacy occurring between the two of you. I love the color. I love his personality. I love the shape of his face and the way he can look so stoic even though you can tell he is feeling something. I love the way he only shows emotion when his friends are in need. I love the way he can help anyone and brush it off like it's nothing. I love the way he stands, the way he walks, the way he acts. I love him.

Realization took over your body as you finally placed these emotions that have been building up inside you for so long.

I love Levi.
