Night Skys

Chapter 1

*beep beep beep*

I rolled over in search on the source of the most obnoxious sound. My alarm clock. I tried my best to stifle a groan. My vision was a bit blurry for a moment as I struggled out of bed and toward my closet. I chose a simple pair of black legging and a red t-shirt to pair with my black cardigan and black converse.I flew down the stairs and out the door before my mother or the step-loser even knew I was up. Of course I had to walk to school because Melissa was late. Again.

 I walked to the 7-Eleven down the street from my house and by the time I got there I was a sweaty mess. For it to be the end of August it was ridiculously hot. I pulled out my phone to check the weather and my eyes probably popped out of my head. It was gonna be a hundred and ten degrees. I car horn honked and I screamed and almost busted my head on the concrete had it not been for a sexy stranger. He chuckled softly and lifted me up slowly I was still in shock he had managed to catch me I didn't even know he had been there. 

The car that had honked at me pulled into the gas station and the cheer-leading captain and her beta got out and flounced up toward me. "A little clumsy are we today Cahya?" Lexi said of course she was in her cheer uniform. Today was game day. Chelsi giggled behind her because of course being a beta she's never had an original thought maybe ever. I smiled and said, "A little bitchy today are we Lexi?" Her fake cheer smile faltered for a moment then she recovered and turned to the mystery boy who had caught me just moments ago. She beamed at him and asked,"And what is you name 'Superman'"? His eyes flashed dark for a second I almost thought I had imagined it. "Well my name is-" I cut him off and said "Hey Lex Luther eat this." and blew an air-horn in her face.

As I ran down the street and hit the next block out of the corner of my eye I see someone on a motorcycle. I cut through the alley and took the side street. I finally got to school and ran to the bathroom. As soon as I locked the stall Lexi and Chelsi stalked in the bathroom. "Come on Cahya, don't be that way." she said in her most condescending voice. Chelsi whispers,"We have cheer practice. Like now." Lexi swore and I heard them walk out but I waited a solid five minute after until I left the bathroom. As I stepped out I slammed into someone's chest. The smell was familiar and quit intoxicating. 

I stepped back and looked at the handsome face of the stranger that caught me. I guess he may have caught me again because everything went black and I swear I heard a howl.
