Nothing Like You

Chapter 1

"Class we have a new student. He came all the way from England." Our teacher Mr. Smith told us. I heard some girls giggle and talk about how cute his accent must be.
My best friend Taylor taps my shoulder," aren't you excited he came all the way from England!!"
I shrug my shoulders," I don't know he's probably just gonna be a snob."
"Come on. Give him a try!!" Taylor says excitedly.
Then he enters the room with his green eyes and brown hair.
"Hello." He saids awkwardly.
"Hello Mr. Kay. Class please welcome Robbie Kay."
"Hi Robbie!!" The class says as girls giggle and try to impress them. I roll my eyes and see him look at me.
"Robbie theres a seat next to Olivia." Mr. Smith said pointing to the seat next to me.
"Omg shes so lucky!!" A girl from the other side of the room said.
He walks down the row of desks until he reaches the one next to mine
"Hello." He smiles.
"Hi!! I'm Taylor!! This is my best friend Olivia." She tells him.
"Well hello Olivia." He says.
"Hi." I bluntly say.
"Don't act so cold." He said.
"Sorry I'm trying to concentrate on the lesson." I lied.
He turns so he's facing the board and doesn't talk to me for the rest of the class. Finally the class is over and the bell rings. I jump out of my seat faster than anyone and run out the door. Taylor runs up to me.
"What is wrong with you?" She asks.
"I honestly don't care because one I have a boyfriend. Two he seems like a total jerk." I said.
We walk to lunch and Taylor walks up to him. All the girls that are crowed around him move so that Taylor can talk to him. They talk for a while he smiles and nods. Taylor walks back to me with a smile.
"What did you say?" I ask.
"What? I just invited him to lunch." She said innocently.
I sigh and just walk to our usually table. The one in the middle.
"Hey Boo!" My boyfriend Jake says covering my eyes.
"Hey!" I said kissing him on the cheek.
"Hello." Robbie says smirking.
"Guys this is Robbie. Robbie this is Ally and Rachel. Obviously you know Olivia and me." Taylor says.
He sits down next to me. I try not to even look at him for the rest of lunch. The bell rings as we head to class.
We walk to class just my luck Robbie almost has the exact same schedule as me. Thankfully he didn't talk to me for the rest of the day. Then he sat next to me on the bus.
"Hello love." He says sitting next to me. I ignore him wondering if he's gonna leave. "A simple hello would do."
"Hi." I said," happy?"
"At least you spoke to me." He said.
"Probably the only time I will." I said.
He chuckles and smiles.
Finally after a long bus ride it reaches my stop. Robbie gets off too.
"Please don't tell me you live next door." I said.
"I guess were neighbors." He said smirking.
Out of everybody in the entire school. Robbie Kay is my neighbor.
