Into the Stars.

Introduction

[hey everyone thanks for reading. This is my first time to post any of my work publicly so I hope you like it]

Kaylee laid under the stars. Her mother had died a few days ago and had told Kaylee that her father, the Star Lord, would be along to get her soon.
Her mother had never talked about her father till she was about to die. Her mother was a Terran that the her father had rescued in space. They had fallen in love and were going to have a child. But her Father knew it was dangerous for her and the child in space and left her on Earth. Years past with no sign of Star Lord. She raised the child on her own for 16 years...and now she was gone. Kaylee sat up and looked at the starry night sky. She got to her feet heading back to the house she was raised in. The Department of humans services would be there to get her in the morning. She had packed all her belongings she would need. She took a seat on the couch looking at her birth certificate. Kaylee Marie Quill. She ran a finger over her father's name. "Peter Jason Quill... My father, Star lord..is never coming for me." She said sadly putting the paper back in its box. "I should try to get some sleep." She yawned and laid on the couch. She closed her eyes and fell asleep quickly. Hours later a roar awoke her. She sat up as it got closer. She ran to the window to see lights overhead. Is it a plane crashing!? She thought running from the window to the door and pushing it open running outside. The Craft was huge with blue and orange paint. She was scared and ran back into the house grabbing a gun out of the closet. The roar stopped and a man in a mask walked through the door. "Are you Kaylee Quill?" He asked. His mask looked like a gas mask with red eyes. He looked her over as she looked at him. Her brown curls fell in her green eyes as she stared at him. "Yes." She said timidly, "I'm Kaylee Quill..." The man hit a button on the side of his mask and it disappeared onto the side of his head. "I'm your father....Star Lord...and I've come to get you." He smiled.
