Every day it is the same

The same person calls my name

He beats me up and shoves me down

He treats me as though I were a clown

He acts high and mighty, like a royal king

Like he owns the school, the world, everything

I want to stand up to his face, show him who's boss

But I know whatever I do, it is always my loss

I tell the school, I tell the principal

But they just don't want to be sensible

I get bullied every day, but they don't understand

It's getting worse and worse it's getting out of hand

With every shoving or punch, his ego just gets stronger

I don't think I can't take this torture any longer

The bruises and scars, they show my pain

With every bit of sanity I loose, confidence he gains

I feel week, pathetic, not worthy of a friend

I just wish that this awful feeling would simply end

If I could move away from here, leave this horror today

But maybe it wouldn't matter, and happen again some day

The fear and misery seems to constrict my every breath

It almost seems as if the only relief I'll get is death

I had never considered it before, it never crossed my mind

But it seems like the only way to leave all this behind

My family and friends that I care for so

I feel like my existence just fills their lives with woe

But in my depression, I finally think it through

And come to the conclusion that that is not true

I have people that love me, people that care

People who won't only give me a blank stare

They will do what they can to help me up when I am down

They know how to make me smile when I have a frown

No matter what happens, they will be there for me

And there is not place they would rather be

No matter my appearance or type, there will always be at least one who loves me

A person who will let me be myself and feel truly free

The people who pick on me do so out of envy

They listen to others and are not, themselves, free

They need to feel feared, by picking on the weak

The abnormal, the outcasts, are who they always seek

I am not a "weirdo" or a "nerd" or a "freak"

The only thing I am is "Unique"

They stay true to others, to be part of the group

But all that is is an endless loop

The ones true to themselves are who they shun

And always make it look like they are having fun

But on the inside, they are insecure

They don't know who they are for sure

The bullies are jealous of those who are not restricted

How they function makes their thoughts conflicted

They just do what gets them attention

Like life is just one big convention

People competing for the most people's eyes

As if feeling as though whoever looses dies

Why it's so important, I'll never know

Why they want to be the star of the show

Whether it means being a bully, a druggie, or a hoe

So people will like them, their own confidence low

But remember, no matter what happens, the feeling in your chest

Don't let those people get to you, you are better than the rest

The ones that abuse, bully, and hate

We'll let god decide their fate

Stay true to yourself, stay as you are

And I promise you, you will go far

Because with every bad word ,from them to you, said

Is one bit more, inside, they feel dead.
