The Day You stopped Looking Back
Landon and Jasmine have been married for fifty years or so. They be never had any children only two nieces Madison and Lacey -- both twins. they spend the whole summer with Landon and Jasmine at their farm. They loved their aunt and uncle -- but one night while they couldn't Sleep Lacey told Maddy let's go into the barn and just play in the hay. Maddy argued with her twin sister not to-- but she dugged her along.
So that night it was so hot and dark -- they decided to just lay in the hay instead of playing. Lacey told her that she wanted to go up on the top of the barn. Maddy was worried -- because she hasn't hear her Lacey, so she went up on the ladder to see what she was doing. When she reached her sister -- she was trying to open one of the old suitcases. Madison came walking quickly over to her -- and scolded her. " Lacey what are you doing-- you know Uncle Landon told us those suitcases are for us when we turn eighteen years old." "Yes, but I really wanted to have the money now-- I could buy a lot of toys and give mommy the money to buy a new house since daddy died," she respond.
I just sigh--"No and why do you bring up dad; he's been done three months ago -- you know aunt Jasmine was very close to him, that's why she is giving us these suitcase," she whispered as she took her sister into a hug. Lacey I know you miss him too but he's right here, she pointed to her heart.."So the money in the suitcases are for us." she asked. " Yes, and those were dad's. "
After she had told her about the suitcases --Maddy took her twin down from the top of the barn and they both were very tired-- so they did decided to stay in barn where the fell asleep. that's the day you stopped looking back.
