Kristina's POV

"All right flight 213 to Los Angeles is boarding now. Please grab your belongings." A voice says filling the airport. 

I look at my dad. I pull him into a tight hug before say goodbye one last time. "Bye dad, I love you!" I say as I walking away. "Bye sweetie!" He calls back. I smile back at him as I show the lady my boarding pass. 

I walk into the ramp that goes down to the airplane and look back. Goodbye Pittsburgh I will miss you. I thought to myself.  I turned forward again walked into the airplane. I quickly found my seat and I sat down.

I put in my earbuds and looked out the window.  What if I'm being stupid? What If my roommate is a clingy psychopath? What if I don't make any friends? Bad thoughts filled my head but I ignored them and told myself it wasn't going to happen and that I was going to be fine. Did I believe myself? I tried to.....

I felt the plane start going fast and eventually I knew we had taken off. I looked out the window one more time and I felt my eyes close. I was asleep in seconds.

Hours Later.......

I woke up and looked around. Almost everyone in the plane was sleeping. I opened my tray table and placed my laptop on it.

 "All right passengers, please fasten your seatbelt and put all laptop computers away. Thank you for flying with us." Wow. Perfect timing. I put my laptop back in my carry on and put my seatbelt on. I just sat there quietly and waited for us to land. Suddenly I felt a small bump and cheers filled the plane. The seatbelt signal turned off and everybody stood up and got their bags. I was at the front of the plane so I was one of the first to get off. 

As I walked through the airport I thought about how life would be in Los Angles. I thought about how good of friends me and my roommate would be, I thought about losing the friends I had back in Pittsburgh, and I though about what the apartment would look like. I even thought about how I was going to design my room. 

I went to baggage claim and got my suitcases. A cab was picking me up so I went outside and waited for it to come. Finally I saw it pull up and I got in the backseat. I told him the address and we were there in about 25 minutes. I took the elevator to the 3rd floor of the apartment complex and knocked on the door of what was going to be my new home for a long time. 

A guy that looked about my age opened the door. I looked at him confused. "Uh hi, I'm Kristina. I'm supposed to be rooming with Cameron Dolan? Is she here?" The guy looked at me for like..... 30 seconds before bursting out laughing. "No! That's th- the name of my sister! I'm Ethan! You're rooming with  me and my brother" he said still laughing. I felt my cheeks burn with embarrassment and i walked inside. "Oh....sorry.... I just thought...... never mind" I said looking down at my feet. 

"It's fine. Grayson's out getting lunch with a friend right now. Why don't you get settled in? Your rooms over there." Ethan said pointing to a room down the hall.

"Ok thanks" I said and walked into the room. There was a queen sized bed and the walls were painted white. The closet was huge and I even had my own bathroom with a shower in it. I looked over at the wall and saw that I even had my own tv! Back at home i would always ask my dad if I could get a tv in my room but he always said no.

I found some drawers and put some of my clothes in them. Then I hung up some of my other clothes. At one point I wanted to decorate my room but decided i would do that a different time. I got a out a pair of leggings and then put them on. After that i put on cropped tie dye t-shirt. It was my favorite shirt.

"Hey, im bored lets go do something" Ethan said walking into my room startling me. I jumped a little bit and turned around. "ever heard of knocking!?" I said to him while pulling my long light brown hair into a high ponytail. "Sorry, ill try that again." he said and smirked. I folded my arms and looked at him. He walked back outside my room and knocked on the door. "excuse me kind lady, would you except my presence?" He said making us both laugh.

"Yes" i said  still laughing. "and im also bored. Is there anything fun to do?" Ethan looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "You do realize you now live in LA......there is sooooo much fun stuff do here." he said. "Ok.... like what?" i asked. "well we could go to the beach...there are some fun rides down at the boardwalk there." he suggested.

"Yeah but lets save that for tomorrow. I think your brother would want to come too." i said. He nodded. I suggested that we just watch a movie or something and he agreed. We watched a scary movie which i absolutely loved because i love scary things. After the movie we talked for a little bit and eventually i felt my eyes start to close and i almost fell asleep. I jolted up right away though and didn't fall asleep. "um, im really tired. Im going to go to bed now." i said. "Ok! Night Kaitlyn!" "Night" i said back. I brushed my teeth and got into bed without changing. That's how tired i was.
